How is it a poor title? It’s literally the situation. Just because someone who raised you needs help doesn’t mean you need to. They chose to have kids it’s their responsibility to raise them or give them up to someone who would provide more than the basics. If right at 18 you consider yourself done with them then expect them to do the exact same thing.

I don’t have a need for a computer and I enjoy using a controller to easily navigate the system. I can toss the controller just about anywhere without it being in the way. I don’t have room for a dedicated desk so the mouse would get lost and the keyboard would be cumbersome for me to set somewhere out of the way.

I like to sit down, turn the console on, recline, turn the TV on, play, toss the controller in or on the coffee table after.

Honestly it’s talked about a lot. Isolated to online you would think most people are against these kinds of things but reality is the average player just doesn’t care. These companies have the statistics that show how much they’re making vs losing and when they take a chance and it sticks all the other companies align with the new money making way. That’s how we have gotten to where we are. This HD2 thing will blow over for now but it’ll come back in other ways. Likely next time you’ll see them just launch the game with the requirement and it won’t be stopped as it was this time. The issue this time was they did it after it got ridiculously popular especially with the PC community the community that sticks to being PC instead of consoles so trying to force them won’t ever work like that.

We can hate it all we want but sadly we can’t out weigh the immense amount of people who don’t care.

Some people enjoy having some unique tech are they wrong to be upset when the product they paid for doesn’t work? It’s dumb that the error takes up the entire mirror so by sharing posts like this on social media it encourages the makers to fix this flaw by using public pressure.

I’m kinda new to the scene so take what I say with a grain of salt. I have jellyfin running on a laptop and I use a roku stick to stream through. Not perfect by any means however it does what I need to do. I’ve been told using a raspberry PI would be a great budget option with more feature.

I use to torrent everything until Netflix and as competitors began popping up it was fine as it was convenient but now I can’t keep up with what’s where. Had to dust off the hat and learned to set up a server for jellyfin. I tried being fair but they got greedy

As someone who just finished dusting my hat off after 12 years and setting up jellyfin how do I get the content I need for it?

Is jellyfin only usable with computers or is there a way to use it with smart tvs/consoles?

I've been here for about a week. I found that the creator for sync for reddit finally finished sync for lemmy and immediately came in. As others notice I'm sure they'll be joining as well. Everything goes up and down so it's not surprising to see a slight decline. Looking forward to the growth!
