I’m sorry, but the vast majority of this really just boils down to “all my coworkers suck.” Why the fuck are you still there? It sounds like literally nobody you’ve ever worked with knows how to do web dev

I’m not a weirdo, so I don’t. My friends don’t have to buy into my version of wasting time
Bots and cheaters have completely overtaken it and the small community that still plays has finally had enough
That has literally no bearing on my desire to know the actual numbers
I wish they gave numbers… like were they 85.1mm, or 90?
Neither of us have evidence and we’re both speculating.
It already happened, there is no speculation. Many people who refunded have already bought the game after the policy was rolled back, and their progress remained.
So are you trying to claim that they did delete progress for people that refunded, or do you just not remember what your argument was originally?
Cheapest model is I think ~350? But goes up to like $800 for the most expensive
Here’s a source: literally this scenario - they didn’t delete progress.
Congrats, you’re the moron!
It sounds like it will be really hard to differentiate bounce trackers from totally valid patterns like routing through federated identity servers 🤔 I wonder how they’re dealing with that
They’d be stupid to delete progress… that just sounds like it’s a way to guarantee that nobody returns instead of trying to lure them back.
…but then again, I suppose we’ve learned that business decisions aren’t their strong suit 🤷♂️
Sony really managed to erase one of their best-selling games in less than 3 days, for literally no potential gain at all. All risk, no reward: what a fuckin’ business strategy
If you have chosen to sort a subfolder, or if you use an option like “always sort,” then I agree. But if you just happen to be at the top level folder, I don’t think subfolders should be sorted when you click “sort,” because they may be in an order that you want and sorting is an action that shouldn’t be destructive (unless intentionally destructive).
The sort button absolutely shouldn’t sort subfolders. I do think there should be an option to always automatically sort alphabetically, though
I don’t know if “no, I’m not interested” counts as engagement…
The game itself isn’t open-source, but its free and I think it’s fair to say made in the spirit of open-source
…what does this mean? How is it made in the spirit of open-source if it is closed-source? Free is not at all the same thing.
I don’t think there ihas been any official statements, but at least two of his properties were raided by DHS, and when they conduct raids it is most often for human trafficking cases. While the raids were ongoing, PD was flying to (I believe) NYC, but diverted to a Caribbean island.
If you don’t have strong opinions one way or the other, then docker is the easy answer. Way, way more widespread, which generally tends to mean better docs, more guides and examples, more tooling and open-source support…
I would think that in general it comes down to understanding what “ownership” is and that it has been taken from us, replaced with “licensing”
Your mistake is thinking that the average person
It’s wild, because it used to be that you bought a movie and it didn’t matter that the rights ran out you could still watch your fucking movie in your own home.
I understand the concern and I’m sure it does happen, but I have literally never heard this complaint from a single person that I actually know. What movies/services has this actually happened to?
No argument against anything you said related to copyright laws, just to be clear.
But that map clearly says 133
