Can confirm too, had a core one from the first batch and I broke some parts during assembly. Got sent new parts, with extra spares and 600 grams of carbon fibre PETG in case I needed any other parts, all free of charge (they knew I had a second printer).

One of the founders of Fairphone is working on a European alternative phone OS called Mobifree, which is also open source. Google free Android also already exists.
