Dino Crisis is such a gem. I replay it every couple years around Halloween.
I pay thousands per year in school taxes and the vast majority goes to school administrators making 6 figures. We can’t just toss more money at schools to fix this - we need legislation stating how the money is used. The money needs to go to the kids and teachers instead of clueless rich people.
It’s perfect on tacos, but you’ve gotta try it in mashed potatoes too. My mashed potatoes have been a hit at get-togethers for years and greek yogurt is my secret ingredient!
Get plain Greek yogurt and use it as a substitute for sour cream in all of your recipes. They taste nearly identical.
Heck yeah, a New Years Eve staple
Eggs. Specifically, beet pickled eggs.
This was one of my first videogames. I wouldn’t call it a good game, but it’s certainly a vibe. I never did beat it.
I miss my garage. I moved to the city for a better job and left behind a nice plot of land with a garden and a big garage. I’m in a condo now, just a basic apartment really, and it only has street parking. I hope I can someday find a home in this area that is a carbon copy of my starter home.
My first home was 2br 1.5ba, 800 sqft, and was a perfect starter. It would have easily accommodated a family of 3, maybe 4 if the kids shared a bedroom. It’s more space than most people realize if it’s properly utilized. I’d gladly downsize to a home of that size again.

Namecheap domains include a dynamic DNS application for free and it works well. Be aware that it only runs on Windows.
This show came at a perfect time imo. I used to be hooked on Rick & Morty but it has fallen off in recent seasons, and Lower Decks scratches the same itch. Looking forward to S5.
It’s strange that it lists Salary instead of Household Income. I’d be curious to see a comparison of the average home cost vs average household income, as that would paint a clearer picture of affordability.
I’m concerned that crackdowns on pirating will come sooner or later. At some point it may become too much of a hassle. So I’m hoarding a lifetime of old movies and games to hold me over.
I’ve been using AKG Q701s for well over a decade. They’re hard to drive, but extremely comfortable and the sound quality far surpasses anything under $500. I like that they’re open-ear and breathable - I forget that I have them on. I’ve gotten to the point of buying several backup sets on Ebay any time a good deal pops up, just to make sure I’ll be able to use this same model for the rest of my life in case something happens.
The Q701 model is technically no longer produced, but K702 is identical other than the headband style. They retail around $150.
I’m in the same boat. Steam Deck has been a game changer for me and I’m finally working through my library. It’s great to be able to play on the couch with my SO instead of setting aside dedicated game time on the PC.
I have to wonder what percentage of folks are using handheld gaming PCs like the Steam Deck or ROG Ally. Personally I’ve found that I game much more now that I have a Steam Deck and can mindlessly play stuff like Dave the Diver while relaxing on the couch with my SO, versus setting aside specific “gaming time” to be at my desk.
A shed. It’s a shed.
Digitally. I’m just too lazy to swap a cartridge.
