recently announced any bug reports generated by AI need a human to actually prove it’s real. They cited a deluge of reports generated by AI that claim to have found bugs in functions and libraries which don’t even exist in the codebase.
Trump has claimed a few times that, in order for cars to be approved for import in Japan, they must be able to withstand an impact from a bowling ball without denting. It’s not a real thing. When the White House press secretary was asked why Trump made up such a weird lie, she said it was “obviously a joke”.
That and there are extra flight regulations for flights passing directly over the north pole due to the harsh conditions. Airlines tend to prefer going around unless going over is worth the effort.
I just spent $4,000 CAD on mine and I’m glad I didn’t wait any longer.
And if you don’t upgrade you won’t be able to play at all!
Because I’m a Gamer! A Gamer! The most oppressed minority on the planet!
But the author’s actual reason is:
Our hobby deserves better from the companies that made their billions on the backs of PC gaming
Which seems about as true as saying Microsoft made their billions on the backs of PC gaming.
I believe it’s Steam Keys can be sold anywhere but they have to be for the same price as buying the game through Steam itself.
The person who wrote in “married sex”. I bet that deviant is probably into hand holding too.
It’s probably just that people in those countries prefer their erotic comics to be short and to the point. The chart even has a bar for “speechless” so I don’t think language density has much to do with page count. There’s also a bar for “translated” which seems to show translators pick shorter comics, which is interesting.
always read the contract. No matter what they tell you, what’s written there is what can be enforced
My friend signed with a publisher when he released his game. The reason he did it was because they offered to port his game to consoles as well as localize it to several languages. They said the fees for those services would be taken out of sales. My friend agreed because he though it gave him far more reach than if he just put the game up on Steam himself.
They charged him $50,000 for the porting and localization. The game hasn’t sold anywhere near that amount and he doesn’t expect it ever will. They will continue to take 70% of revenue (after Steam takes their cut!) until he makes up that debt. He’s lucky he asked for a cut because originally the contract read 100% to publisher until he pays off the debt. He wouldn’t have made any money at all!
Thanks for the link! Very interesting!
tl;dr sticks often use “potentiometers” to track position. They involve electrical contacts that wear out as the stick is moved around. Once they wear out enough, the stick will produce erroneous signals and needs to be replaced. Hall Effect sticks use magnets and track position by measuring changes in the magnetic field. There is no physical contact so the sticks last much longer.
Damn $32.50 a month for the full tier? That puts them way above every other MMO.
Make sure to add “…in Mario Kart”
I would ask for a refund.
Oh good, I thought it was just me! I have an older card and can barely keep 30fps with everything set to low. Good to know even top of the line $1,000+ cards can’t keep 60fps on max settings.
I wonder if they’ll be able to patch that. I remember Starfield had framerate issues on launch but a patch fixed it.
It is true. Math.min() returns positive Infinity when called with no arguments and Math.max() returns Negative Infinity when called with no arguments. Positive Infinity > Negative Infinity.
Math.min() works something like this
def min(numbers): r = Infinity for n in numbers: if n < r: r = n return r
I’m guessing there’s a reason they wanted min() to be able to be called without any arguments but I’m sure it isn’t a good one.
