I appreciate that this exists. N64 controllers were super fucked up and I’ve encountered troubles getting an xbox style controller to work with emulation because the right thumbstick isn’t a good replacement for c-buttons.

I’ve got two methods for scrolls.
The first is “Don’t bother with anything they are capable of casting by themselves.” As in, I’ll only drop scrolls of a higher rank than their top slots. The flashier the spell, the better.
The second is “The player is actively seeking this out in-character,” in which case I’ll just drop a cache of 4-8 of the spell at the end of a mini-quest performed alongside whatever the current job is.
I’ve got one method for wands.
Is the spell something with a persistent effect? Then bam. There you go. I’ll never drop a wand that loses its utility as soon as you spend the actions, or worse, as you level up. Spells like fireball are a no-go, but spells like Shape Stone are great.
And as for staves, I’ve got two again.
One, does the staff have a good evergreen first level spell (or more) like Illusory Object or Heal? Then it’s going into the loot piles.
And two, is there a thematic link I can make to where the staff is found? That’s a going on the baddies’ fireplace mantle to sell their aesthetic.
Resident Evil 1 for the first time. The voice acting is very silly.
Don’t oPen that door!
Chris is our old partner ya knoow.
Damn, you reply quick. yep, I realized the instant i asked and felt stupid, eheh.
huh, what dropped in 2020 that caused that big spike?
Play it again.🔫
ooh, can I be the first then? Buddy, you gotta play SPYRO THE DRAGON, that game is the pinnacle of the loveable skrunko genre. You get to play as the titular Spyro, a plucky little dragon dude. How cool is that? So when’re you gonna start your first playthrough?
Waluigi and Samus.
What this says about me is that I’m a lanky crook who underneath the rough veneer is a clumsy weirdo with a hyperfixation on birds??? I guess that’s actually pretty accurate, though the slang is pretty archaic there.
The only advantage I see over my current phone case controller is that it looks like it can fit in a pocket. Giving up screen space isnt ideal when you want to refer to a guide or look at some other part of your phone temporarily. And some games are widescreen only, which means this one’s a nonstarter for those.
Kotake and Koume are pretty cool. Ganon’s weird moms who can fuse into a giant woman? Yeah, they’re alright. I loved their appearance in Majora’s Mask as completely innocuous business owners in the poison swamp.
Breastplate is good even when you can’t max its dex cap. Sentinel is only 1 lv 2 feat, after all. Not really what you mean, but I’ve never considered anything lighter.
Upon further thought, I’d say that any “situational” armors like armored coats are simply not worth it since armor runes take up so much of your budget already. Having a backup for niche situations is just not economically feasible, and rolling with worse armor all the time just invites crits your way.
They axed their proficiencies (no more medium or heavy armor, martial proficiency is an unreliable spell that requires sustaining if you miss), and their curse is gutted (no more bootleg rage, no more always-on in combat regeneration, meaning no more shounen protagonist ‘you’re gonna have to hit me harder than that’ moments when you rise from 0hp on your own)
Sure, but I’m not exactly starving for protein over here. I only ever really make anything with poultry once every two weeks maybe? And that’s just with some stir fry - plenty of substitutes I could use there. It’s those chicken eggs I’d really be missing.
I’ll drop Chicken, being fully aware that eggs are now also banished from my diet. Maybe I can import powdered turkey eggs or something, but I just can’t give up 'taters. Hashbrowns, potato chips, loaded baked potatoes… they’re all just too important to me.
Bloodborne Nightmare Kart!
I think its really funny that they made this big section of the article about the updated icon… which is practically identical to the previous one.
I’m not sure the comparison is quite apt, I’m not familiar with any independent food delivery services beyond just asking your buddy to grab some snacks on the way over for a hangout or something.
But I am vaguely familiar with the idea of loss-leading and think its despicable. If no regulation is ever going stand in the way of practices, then knowing they’re being exploited by folks like pizza dude makes me feel a bit better, at least.
what the fuck, it just shits it out from a story up? Couldn’t it like, scoot down to ground level at least?
I say good for him. Doordash can bleed all of the money it wants.
lol
