I think it’s okay, I would have voted against it, but they really need to be careful with their website design.
The first time I went to their website, I left immediately because I got a big pop-up with 404. Tried again, same thing. Third time, I saw it was just a pop-up asking for then-optional registration.
Thankfully, they changed their pop-up design since then.
The article mentions all that, but it seems that no one has read it.
The article clearly says they use the shorthand “DND” for their article. The fact that’s it’s “DND” and not D&D is likely due to the fact that it’s a chinese publication and also maybe a stylistic choice.
Speed Daily exclusively learned that the American toy company Hasbro is seeking to sell its well-known IP “Dungeons & Dragons” (referred to as “DND” below), and Tencent is one of the potential buyers.
I played the game last year but it was incredibly easy as an adult. I didn’t even finish it because it was too boring. I might download a mod that increases the difficulty.
I used Mondly fully free a few years ago. It was good. I don’t know how it is now.
I also used Anki flashcards.
The frat-bro culture of harassment and abuse started way before the merge with Activision.
Blizzard North was separate from the Irvine studio, I believe. Their Diablo 3 was in development for a while too.
But yeah, I guess that’s what people mean, the old design philosophy. But I can’t help it now. Old Blizzard seems tainted to me. At least starting from the WC3+WoW era.
Do we really want old Blizzard back?
Personally, with all that we learned about the frat-bro culture there, I don’t want it back. Hell, if it meant people didn’t get abused, I’d erase it.
Exactly this. The comics property has Skybound, but HBO seems to just be doling out the TV show licence left and right.
Good idea, I’ll put it right by “Time Person of the Year 2006”!
It’s actually been one of his catchphrases to dogwhistle fascist stuff. He just answers “Concerning.” to fake news, exaggerations or other dishonest stuff. Then he can deny he agrees or that he truly believed it. After all, he just wrote “Concerning”!
That sounds pretty good. Particularly UTF-8 support. I hate software that takes only English into account.
Destiny 1 was planned to be live service, “updated until the end of time”. Seems like the design and technology did not work for that, hence Destiny 2
They get those people to help boost the credibility of the IPO and their experience in managing acquisitions and such.
QA people being mistreated is very, very common. They'd likely rehire some when required or use contractors.
Mismanagement and lack of direction sets a live-service game wayward. How surprising. /s
