Not sure what it runs natively, but I just set out to use a rpi to replace a machine I moved to another room. Just need it to run a browser and at most watch youtube videos. My rpi2 definitely wasn’t up to the task, so I went to a rpi 3b and unfortunately it isn’t up to the task either as the browser quickly chewed up all 1gb of ram and then used the 1gb of swap to where it came to a grinding halt even trying to open youtube. Plugged in a rpi4 with 8gb of ram and it seems to be doing the job. I have a rpi4 with 4gb, but didn’t even bother trying it. Resolution didn’t seem to be the issue for me, it was space, and possibly sd card speed, but I wasn’t going to fiddle with it too much. The rpi4 is working good and I am typing this reply on it.

One thing here bisby left off. If you check the villager and they are selling Mending books, don’t break the lectern. Find a new villager. :) Also, I have had some luck finding silk touch pickaxes in things like sunken ship chests, or buried treasure chests. You can also try fishing one up, but you better like fishing. It’s my happy place, so I have fished up a lot of them over the years over thousands of hours just fishing. It relaxes me for some reason.

Yeah, that is bedrock edition, and it’s crazy how poorly it runs on the Switch natively. It has just gotten progressively worse as we go along. Each update comes with a new batch of shit that doesn’t work. For instance, you used to be able to drop out of the game and go to your screenshots on the Switch, then pop back into the game. If you do that now, it immediately disconnects you from the realm or any network connected instance when you pop out of the game. I have disconnected from a lot of games by accidentally hitting the wrong button when I meant to just take a screenshot. It didn’t do that in the past, but they fucked it up one update and have just never bothered to fix it. And they obviously aren’t doing any kind of thorough testing as that would have come up. They just ignore their Jira ticketing system.

The version I prefer isn’t available anymore, and the only way you can play it is if you had it originally as it has been removed from the store. If your account doesn’t have the Switch edition, you are out of luck because they insisted that bedrock had to be the only one available, so Switch Edition had development halted and then eventually wiped from the store. Sucks, because that version was so much better as far as performance and gameplay goes.

Are you talking about Bedrock edition on the Switch, because that I believe? It’s a complete shitshow and all anyone can purchase anymore on the Switch. I am talking about pre-Bedrock, Minecraft Nintendo Switch Edition. It had none of the issues that they have introduced with Bedrock. And in my opinion the fishing mechanic on the Switch Edition was awesome. It just felt right.

Nintendo Switch Edition was absolutely my favorite, and now you can only play it if you had a copy before they took it off the marketplace.

Does the uid you are using to run nginx have permissions to read the root folder (defined above as /var/www/html/partviewer/public , not the actual linux root) and below?

For how much money they rake in these updates should be far more robust if anything.

They don’t even seem to test. There has been a known issue connecting two Switches to the same game instance, and they have just kept moving the ticket along in Jira, extending out or asking each update if the issue still exist, and someone replies yes, on and on ad infinitum. They obviously aren’t testing on anything other than a pristine godzillabit speed network, otherwise they would have found this issue a long time ago. And I have been playing long enough to remember when exactly that issue was introduced in an update. They make enough money on this franchise that bugs like this should be unacceptable, but hey we have armadillos… And those fucking phantoms. Yeah…

I get a five dollar bill every time I find the words ‘criminally underrated’ on youtube video posts of hugely popular artists. I will be rich in a week or less.

Thanks for the input. I will try plugging it into other ports, or maybe a powered hub and see what kind of distance I get with that. Didn’t even think of it being a power issue.

Dear sweet baby jesus. What software does a mouse need other than a driver? This AI shit was annoying to begin with, and they just keep trying to shovel that shit right down our throats.

Not impressed with Logitech lately. Was on a trip and needed to pick up a wireless kb and mouse, and went with a logitech. Used a single dongle which was ok. Would have preferred bluetooth, but I can handle a dongle. Got it hooked up and to my dismay if you move away further than about 1 foot, the mouse got really jumpy, and you could tell they were both losing connection. What’s the point of having a wireless mouse and kb if you have to be within inches of the device. Ended up picking up a usb extension cable and moving the dongle closer to where I had the kb and mouse. Janky solution for something that shouldn’t have been a problem in the first place. Sorry Logitech, subscription based anything is a hard no for me!

Interesting. I still don’t think I could use that workflow. I use bookmarks, and the dropdowns in the bookmark toolbar when I need to organize links into groupings. And even then I only keep the necessary dropdowns in my list. Everything else I organize by bookmark folders and subfolders.

What? Even 500 tabs? I don’t understand this. I get about 10 open and I can’t read what they are. Please share a pic of what it has to look like with that many tabs open because I totally do not get this? I feel like this would be akin to asking “I can’t see out of my car windshield because I have completely covered it with sticky notes. How can I get to where I need to go?” This is not how browsers were designed to work.
