Oh damn, I remember playing this game sooo many years ago! Unlocking all the different space ships was so fun

I bought Factorio for 20$, and my friend bought it for 25$, And now it costs 35$.
So there have been different prices over the years
Well most of those people wouldn’t have bought it anyway
Iam pretty sure I have already seen a mod do that. It upped the limit to 8 https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/327
Surely hireing a person so they could sell it other countries would would make them more money than that person wages cost
I thought that was how it already worked. I have no sympathy for people that buys early access games and then regret it. It’s has happened time and time again, that people get burned when buy early access, so I think it’s a good change
I also don’t have to have a dedicated space in my inventory anymore for water pumps. Now I can just pipette to get it haha
I guess the word you’re looking for is “Ambivalent”
Yeah I don’t think the sandbox version works in the demo. But sandbox isn’t Minecraft creative, more like survival Minecraft. Also I think I misremembered, it might be called Freeplay and not sandbox, my bad.
But yeah, there is easily +100 hours, in the vanilla game. Not sure if mods works on the steam deck, but mods adds 1000 hours of ekstra gameplay! One of my favorite memories, is playing a death world with a friend. Its normal Freeplay, with biters turned up , so they’re more aggressive. That’s something you should try when you get comfortable with the base game, and if you like playing with biters!
OH, ITS NOT LEVEL BASED! only the demo is, where it teaches you the different aspects of the game. Normally you play “sandbox” mode. And there you can build the biggest factory you want with no restrictions at all.
Everything makes sense now, what you said before. If you thought it was level based
Ah didn’t know you played on the steam deck. Don’t have one myself so wouldn’t know. But all in all, Factorio is worth it at this price point. I already played 1000 hours, and there is many more to come! I think it’s my best price/hours game I own
I can’t wait to spend another hundred hours! 😂
Factorio is way different from terraria and don’t starve. They’re not even the same genere. Also if you think it’s expensive, (not flaming, genuinely asking) is your computer good enough to run cyberpunk at a reasonable graphic settings and fps? Because that games requires alot
They also don’t have trains, I love trains!
At least half a year before Factorio 2.0 comes out. Maybe more. But goddamn, it’s shaping up to be good. Honestly can’t wait
I just bought Mad games tycoon 2. Because I heard it was a better/improved game of game tycoon which I played a lot. And ofc, I also bought Baldurs gate 3! Honestly I was considering not buying bg3 and waiting for it not to be discounted, because I wanted to give more money to Larian studio haha
There is! But still at least a year of development left
Well sometimes the stress is part of the fun, some of my playthroughs I remember best, is the deathworld playthroughs
I have just spend the last couple of months researching myself because I’m in the process of upgrading my rig as well.
I haven’t seen you mention your budget anywhere, but as I read your comments, I understand this is a bit above what you want.
CPU: I would get the 7 7800X3D instead. It odtens performances better for gaming.
Fan: I don’t really like water cooling, but that’s personal opinion. I would get a noctua NH-D15
Motherboard: the “X” before the numbers, is overkill for gaming, it has lots of “ekstra” expensive features that’s just not that usefull. Definitely find one that start with a “B”. Iam getting the “Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX ATX AM5 Motherboard”
GPU: I don’t play 4k myself, so cannot really give you any pointers. I got a 7800 XT, because it’s super good for it’s value. The biggest difference is, Nvidia cards is best for Ray tracing in games, so if you need that, get a Nvidia. If you don’t care for Ray training, get AMD. Also look up reviews of the GPU fx Gamers Nexus/hardware unboxed is good. And see how the cards perform in the games you want to play.
RAM: 16 gb is often good enough, but I would go with 32 gb for now. 64 gb is overkill, and can always be upgraded later. The ones you have picked I think is fine, just get the 32 variant.
Storage: the SSD is good, and 2tb is good. Maybe getting a HDD, if you wants to storage other files that don’t need to be on the SSD.
PSU: I got the exactly same for my build. A rule of thumb for calculating the PSU needed, put every component you need in PCPartPicker, and take the total wattage * 1.5. But the new GPU use so much power should should add 100 ekstra wattage as a “high-end tax” so fx 550 wattage * 1.5 + 100 = 925 PSU.
But the most important thing is, research all the comments you want to try, and watch YouTube videos of people that actually tried and tested it. One youtube channel I like is “PC Builder” he explains what components are pretty well, and give actually examples of good parts to buy.
Honestly, I think it’s the best solution to also ban the owner.
