Is the porpoising caused by regulations? I’ve understood it as teams not wanting to make alterations to prevent loss of aero, but they are able to fix it if they wanted to (like other teams).

I had it on the gamecube, but to play multiplayer you each needed a gameboy with link cable, still.
This could be explained by the use of the GBA screen when in caves and buildings, but it’s a very easy method to fleece the fans while the general public will go “never mind, not worth”.
There has been no delaying, only TotK itself was delayed by a year.
Yup, perfect time to clear some stock
Don’t worry, we’ll all be able to purchase the game on Switch 2, eventually. And anyone who missed it or wants to play it again will pick it up. Everybody wins, except our wallets!
Great list, pretty much my childhood. I’ll add some more:
But it has changed recentlyish, and so (according to this article) we’re seeing the effects today.
They still finished 30+ seconds behind the lead, so not a win but maybe higher
I was sooooo salty when SC III went PS2 exclusive. I mean not really but I was pretty bummed back then. Until I got a PS2 to go with my GameCube and Xbox, at least.
Soul Calibur was one of the few fighting games I really enjoyed because of the different weapons and stats they could have. It really set it apart from the other fighting games back then like DBZ, Bloody Roar, Mortal Kombat, etc.
The intro cinematics were pretty epic for their time too!
Lol I was thinking of this one when I saw the thread title. Still, I don’t see a way to filter those out
The Monaco GP should be in karts or something, as the current track and regulations combination doesn’t allow for a good race. You can’t deny the history of the track but it’s been boring for a while. Race usually ends in how they qualified.
I will look it up but please feel free to elaborate, it sounds cool.
I’m using Sync and when it was Sync for reddit I believe it was possible. Perhaps it’s now a premium feature, idk. But I’m not paying for premium when the developer goes dark between updates. Not saying his development method is wrong, but it’s just not for me.
That’s what the world needs. Smart notifications. And I’m not being sarcastic, this is such a good example of how something like that enriches the user experience that a timer on your phone could never achieve. Keep it up!
Leaving a comment to check back in later. I’m wondering what choices there are as well. Swiping to next post would be neat
For those who haven’t heard of PYPrime, it’s an open-source RAM benchmark based on Python that scales with processor and memory overclocking. However, the latter is more important, so Splave beat the previous record set by Korean overclocker safedisk despite the former having an older chip and running at a lower clock speed. Splave’s Core i9-11900K was operating at 6,957.82 MHz compared to safedisk’s Core i9-14900KS, which was overclocked to 8,374.91 MHz.
Yeah no regular joe is going to OC their CPU, let alone by that much. Still, older CPUs perform absolutely fine if we’re talking about gaming.
How’s game support on Apple nowadays?
It kinda depends on the hardware. For power supplies, Corsair and Cooler Master are good picks, provided you’re not going for the lowest end. Graphics card would probably be Zotac, XFX, maybe Inno3D.
If we’re talking whole devices (like a handheld gaming device) your options become very limited
Msi and gigabyte have been doing that for ages. They are cheap for a reason
