I already have my laptop on a different distro. I’ve been waiting for Steam OS for my gaming PC because it will be the easiest to game on, and for the guaranteed popularity it will be easy to find fixes for compatibility on any games and work well with my steam deck and it will have the biggest force behind it to have games work well on their Linux distro.
You can roll your eyes all you want, but the fact is, you’re going to find out you’re kind of full of shit. Almost anyone who just wants a gaming PC without windows is going to use this distro and with valves resources and popularity it will be the best distro to game on. It would be a bit silly to think otherwise.

1·19 days agoYeah, but sometimes sequels are good. Look at toy story, Shrek, terminator, 21 jump Street, Alien, Rocky, Back to the Future, and Zombieland. Speed Racer could have had another great adventure.
Watched the cartoon as a kid(re runs). Mad crushed on Christina Richie since Casper onward. John Goodman is a GOAT.
I absolutely went and saw this in theaters. It was weird and twitchy and fantastic to watch. A shame there was only the one.
64·22 days agoBecause most voters aren’t making the minimum wage. So say the minimum wage is $10, but you’re making $16, and the min wage gets brought up by $5 to $15. The person making $16 an hour isn’t going to get a raise, or if they do, it won’t be a $5 raise. They’ll just be making $1 over minimum wage, only now everything in the state will adjust upwards in costs, because capitalism. Rent rates and used car prices will go up. Groceries will get a bit more. Places will charge more for child care.
If you weren’t making close to minimum wage, it hurts you more than it helps.
This is a perpetual problem. The fix is simple. Instead of trying to make low incomes higher for a short term amount of help; tax the fuck out of the top end. That will lessen the burden on everyone else, provide more money to help those in need, prevent the oligarchs from just trying to hoard their wealth and put it back out into their companies rather than paying more in taxes, etc.
In short, raising minimum wage is a dumb thing to focus on, when the real focus should be on lowering the top.

There’s plenty to be had for under $50, actually. I had an awesome one, but broke the sapphire in it. That was like 20 years ago :-\
1·2 months agoI don’t see anywhere in that video where he says that. Do you know about what time in the video he says it? Your linked video doesn’t have him testing or talking about Valvoline at all, and he’s testing on new engines.
Here are some of his videos he made on restore and protect that are pretty much the opposite of what you are saying. Also, many of his videos on restore and protect may have been after your referenced video, so he may have not even known about it when your linked video was made.
Since your car was previously abused (but even if it hasn’t I recommend this greatly) start using “Valvoline Restore and Protect” engine oil in it.
It slowly cleans your engine and removed carbon buildup and sludge and frees up piston and oil rings. That brown staying on your oil dipstick will even go away. The shit is magic in a bottle. I started using it three years ago in my Gen 2 Prius that was burning a quart of oil every 1500 miles. Now it burns a quart every 3500 to 4000 miles. My Prius has 290,000 miles on it.
You can check this stuff out on any forums or YouTube videos or all the analysis stuff done by Motor Oil Geek or anywhere else. Not really a negative thing to be found about it. I just buy it from Wal Mart for $30 for 5 quarts. It likely would have eventually even freed up the sludge from your oil separator without you needing to find and replace it.

How is it decided that someone has too
much, and what do you do with them?
Are you going to have enough people becoming skilled nurses and doctors if they aren’t compensated for it, or are they allowed more stuff than you?
What are the numbers for the people in the country, percentage wise that don’t want to be in an anarchist society? What happens if they start selling drugs and cutting people in and more people start to enjoy getting to have more stuff than others? They start buying votes with favors?
Who is going to be the decision makers of any large scale projects that need done? Are you going to have society vote on how to build a sewage system, or is it going to be one person who has designed them before making the decisions and being in charge?
What happens when China or Russia or Canada or whoever else just come over and invade? Gonna barter in a military by trading for corn?

A handful of very, very small places. I clicked one of the links (Rojava) and it said they weren’t even anarchists. It was a society based around democratic confederalism.
You could make anarchy work when there like 500 people and you walk the ones who don’t play nice 5 miles down the goat path and “kick them out” and you’re on 500 acres of land y’all own from a real country that you’re a part of. Using money. It’s stupid and naive to think it can be done on a country wide scale, or anything remotely close to it in this day and age.
That’s like democracy, and you can see where it led. It’s just a fast track to the corruption we have in the US now.
I’m not saying no one ever thought about it. I’m saying there’s a reason it isn’t a used form of government anywhere. It’s absurd
it’s been very well known anywhere within a few states of texas for like a decade, and it’s definitely spreading. The US government needs to get it’s shit together and then wipe that tick off the face of the map the same way they were handling the screw worm flys and the mosquitoes that carry west nile and the other ones that carry dengu fever.
