7 million dollars? You could get multiple professional historians, mythologists or whatever expert your game’s theme is focused on to review and revise your entire game’s story for less than that.

I don’t get what the manga publishers aim to achieve from this. I’ve bought official translation paper versions of like 20 manga series that I’ve read through scanlations. If I didn’t read the scanlations, there is no way I would ever buy them let alone read them.

There is absolutely no fucking way I would pay per episode like publishers want digitally. They put the dumbest restrictions like I can’t screenshot, I’ll need to pay if I want to access it and all that crap. That’s absolutely not happening. People don’t start reading new manga that way.

Some companies pay enterprise level prices to browsers (this could also be attributed to many free software) to have a direct line of support. They want to be able to ask “what the fuck is going on with this employee’s software” and have a straight on answer; or some insight from the people that made that software. Without that support the product is the same as your typical browser.

It’s a different scheme. While the developers can print as many items as they want if they want to, the prices are entirely made out by the community. So they just manipulate the odds to make some items rarer. If they print the same items, the price will fall right off.

However why the game has this much players is that its really easy to bot.

This and the whole Team Fortress 2 bot situation (check Zesty’s video for more details) requires Steam to implement something against botting in general.

As a fun experience, try downloading any sources you can on libgen about a low level programming language and then try to code on it without ever looking up the internet. Just these sources.

You cannot get VAC’ed from a game that doesnt have VAC. I know this because at one time I tried to get an experimental Steam account to get restricted by the most games out there. (I got 7 VAC Bans and 43 Game Bans on said account). Game bans disable certain features within a certain game. VAC only works based on the game it was on (except the whole Source/GoldSrc group bans, which I consider as a single ban).

What you could be referring to could be account bans can be issued based on fraudulent activity on the account. I assume this would cause these sorts of bans.

Though I would typically need to write code that injects the game just right to trigger the anticheat; if this causes game bans this could make getting future bans a lot easier for said account

Depends on how hard your country cracks down on individual piracy. If you’ve heard a friend of yours in the same country being served a copyright notice for pirating; you absolutely need a VPN. If you’ve never heard of this and the idea sounds impossible, you typically won’t need it.

If you will need a VPN; I would heavily recommend Proton VPN for convenience. If you want to selfhost you’re going to need a server in a different country which will still cost you money. Assuming you’ll pay for a typical sbc + gigabit internet + electricity costs + remote maintenance costs and you’ll be looking at a way bigger cost than just 60 euros a year. That’s how much ProtonVPN costs.

While I typically play most games via kb/m; I can’t imagine ever playing racing games with it. Nothing beats the analog controls for me on these.

I bought a PSP just to play GOW Ghost of Sparta, PS2 just to play God of War 2 and PS3 just to play God of War 3 back in the day, since it seemed it was impossible for God of War titles to come to PC ever since the older titles. Same impossibility as a Pokemon game being released to PC.

I was also planning to get a PS4 just for God of War too; but then it got hinted that a PC release was possible through the Geforce Now leak. Ever since then I know any future titles won’t be that exclusive; so why would I even bother buying a PS4, or PS5?
