I’ve probably got the simplest and most “Out of the Box” dashboard stuff going on you can imagine and I’ve got forecast data showing with automations that run against it. What am I missing?

I’m not the OP either but my brain seems to work the same way that yours and theirs do. I’d say you did a good job of describing how it works for people like us.

One difference though is that you don’t seem to have the visual recall that I do. I don’t have a “photographic” memory but I could probably recall the hypothetical map as a visual object and examine it for additional information that I didn’t notice the first time.

I can personally push it to a visualisation, but it takes significant mental effort, and the results are unstable.

You may actually be better at this than I am. Describing my results as “unstable” would charitable. I also don’t get dog breeds, just amorphous and blurry blobs with rorsarch like colors slapped on them.

I think all of our brains are wired different and the different wiring leads to advantages in one thing but it’s probably a disadvantage for others. For instance I have no inner voice but my reading speed, with comprehension, is well faster than nearly anyone I’ve ever met. I can even sometimes recall precisely where on a page a given word or phrase was located, even years after reading the material. However I’m almost entirely unable to imagine a 3 dimensional object and rotate it in my “minds eye”.

Valve has been working on exactly that for a decade now. It’s why they created SteamOS, Steam Machines, and Proton. The current high point of all that work is the Steam Deck but it’s possible we could see an official return of console like Steam Machines.

Jan6 was a very short duration one-off event while the Campus Protests have been ongoing, and escalating, for months now. The difference in response is easily explained by those two facts alone. As an example The LE response on Inauguration Day clearly shows the difference between “One Time” and “Ongoing”.

Yeah, my post was rambly and unclear. In addition to Password Sharing I’m also looking to replace G-Suite for email and calendaring with my custom domain. That “Suite” of stuff is called Proton Family.

Yeah I guess that was kind of rambly and unclear. In short I’m increasingly annoyed with G-Suite and since I’m looking at Proton Pass anyway I could buy Proton Family, which comes with Proton Pass, and do it all at once.

Not directly, the problem is with G-Suite but if I were to shift my email from G-Suite to Proton that problem would go away.

YTTV definitely has a family plan. I’ve used it before. You can invite whoever you want. Up to 5 members. They become part of your Google “Family Group”.

As noted above you can’t do “Family Group” with G-Suite but you can’t do a custom (vanity) domain without G-Suite! It’s a catch-22.

Sure but in the article he says that he hadn’t even heard of it until some friends mentioned it “last month”, which would have been March of 2024. Taking a few weeks to feel it out is one thing but to have not even know it existed until last month is wild.
