I inherited my grandfather’s letter opener. He made it, that’s why we hung on to it.
It really does make opening envelopes easier and more satisfying. Plus it keep the envelope mostly intact to it makes a good storage sleeve. Given that most things that come in envelopes (that aren’t junk) are things we have to hang on to (like tax records), it’s handy. Also my grandfather put a good edge on it, so it’s our best package opener too.

I know you weren’t looking for reqs but, if you like colony building type games, I recently found one called Timberborne. You queue stuff up and watch the beavers build. And it autosaves (quickly) on exit, so its perfect for playing when you might get interrupted at any moment.
I’m too lazy to take pictures, but I have a synology sitting in an Ikea Kalix and an older laptop mounted to the other side of the wall (that the kalix is against), which is a bathroom in my garage.
We had contractors working last summer and let them use the garage bathroom. After the 3rd day I overheard a few of them developing conspiracy theories for why we have a closed laptop mounted to the wall and with fans that would occasionally cycle up.
This isn’t as useful now that IR is a first class citizen, but the Broadlink integration has a pretty solid training routine built in. I have all the IR devices in my house integrated using RM Mini3’s.
I ended up writing my own Harmony replacement using the AppDaemon add-on a few years ago, so I could have the same sort of activity state machine that the Harmony Hub provided.

Like others, I have a 2 tier system.
About 2TB of my (Synology) NAS is critical files. Those get sent via Hyperbackup to cloud storage on at least a weekly basis, some daily. I have them broken up into multiple tasks with staggered schedules so it never has much to do on any given day.
The other 16TB I have get sync’d (again with hyperbackup, but not a scheduled backup task) to a 20TB external drive roughly once per quarter. Then that drive lives on the closet of a family member.

KDE Plasma. I want context sensitive mouse button macros depending on the active window and, if its librewolf, the site in the active tab. I am currently using libratbag/ratbagctl for the remapping, but I’m changing ratbagctl profiles manually.
I’ve discovered this once on my own, I had a complex control remapper and that I had been evolving into a horrific bash hydra of hacks over many years. I briefly tried to get it working when I switched to Wayland. I don’t remember which component broke me, but it went something like this:
“Hey, I wonder why doesn’t this thing work in Wayland. I wonder if I can whip up a pale imitation.”
10 minutes of stack overflow searches later…
“Oh… oh no.”

Printed Solid Jessie filament has become most of my stash, its mid-priced filament that prints like premium. I use PLA for most stuff and PETG if its going to get sun or if PLA would be too brittle. I also use some flexibles (TPU) but each printer is different in how it handles soft filaments, so its hard to recommend.
If you experiment with other types of filaments, be sure your plate can handle it. PETG will stick too well to some plate coatings. Prusa has a good matrix to help.

I have also used sand by pausing the print then filling up some of the voids left by infill. But you have to be really careful because you don’t want it in you belts or motors. I usually put the sand in a reusable condiment squeeze bottle from the dollar store and also use a small funnel to make extra sure its going where I want. I don’t fill all the way to the top and make sure all the fans around the printer are off while filling so they don’ blow it around… use tire weights if you can.
LibreWolf also has the Reader View, also do not use that.

I don’t know if motion animation is the same as other types of films, but for most of the industry you need box office sales to be double of the film budget for it to be considered profitable. Mainly due to marketing budgets and the huge percentage of profit that theaters get for the first few weeks of a film’s release.
