*Not a major issue - just curious

I post a lot, so I wind up seeing hundreds of comment replies in my inbox per day. I frequently notice that comments I’ve read from my inbox will be gone when I click through to the post to reply. Has anyone else experienced this? I probably see it happen 10x per day.

My (uninformed) guesses:

• Some weird federation issue? Could it be loading the comment and then be filtering it out?

• Maybe lots of people write their comment, then delete it?
