I feel like when they’re is a mass boomer extinction we’ll have a major surplus.
Similar to those bullshit antiques they hoarded as their retirement plan and the fact that I’ve inherited 3 platinum dish sets that were purchased for the equivalent of $7500 in the 50’s and current day can’t give them away.
That was the hope I had a decade ago, but as a commodity with inelastic demand, VC firms and investment funds over the last decade are now snapping up residential properties by the boatload and will inflate prices for both buyers and renters for much longer than any boomer selling might improve availability or pricing.
I feel likenifbthere was justice in this world a corporation wouldn’t be able to buy a residential home, but yah know, corps have more rights than us silly humans.
Well, at least they’ll die soon enough.

More people hit house buying age than die each year. The ONLY answer is build more houses.
Or more people die!!!
Only if corporations and foreign investors cannot own housing.
