You can use kaspersky beta versions for free by downloading and installing it from their forum. As a side note, after you install it you need to disable the debugging options once to get the optimal performance.

Most viruses these days are mobile in nature which gives you a 50% shot of which *nix you’re on. You’re either on a Unix like os based on MacOS or heavily modified Linux kernel.
