In only its second weekend, 'Super Mario Galaxy Movie' crosses $300 million domestically and $600 million globally, while 'Hail Mary' soars past $500 million worldwide. Elsewhere, 'The Drama' gains traction and the new Black rom-com 'You, Me & Tuscany' opens.
worse than the first one. It’s fine. doesn’t really go anywhere and just kinda stops. It’s like the middle film of a trilogy if the end of the film doesn’t set up a big a big plot point going into a third. It does however potentially set up a “Super Smash Bros” type of thing as they’re clearly going the multiverse route and connecting all Nintendo first party properties into one universe. So wouldn’t surprise me in the third film if they have Kirby, Samus, etc.
They’ve dealt with Bowser twice now, he’s not much of a threat so it’s likely they introduce Master Hand as pulling the strings over EVERYTHING in the Nintendoverse. Thus they go the Avengers route and do a Super Smash Bros film or series of films.
