Just found out about this community. Will be retroactively posting some builds from the last 2 month when I started this world with some friends.
Since my base is in the Tundra, I tried to build based on how I think I would handle living in a very cold climate. So a large potion of my base is actually underground connected by a series of tunnels.

Looks fantastic! Very cosy. Perhaps you could place snow blocks and snow layers on teh roof? Maybe some berry bushes and rose bushes for a pop of colour.
