Someone donated to my Ko-fi the other day and said “Those of us that appreciate ALL Trek need to stick together!” and I agree. I may not like all of it. I’ve got my issues with DS9. But I love and appreciate all of it because it is fucking Star Trek! Even the worst Star Trek is better than 95% of other television out there, at least as far as I’m concerned. Again, there’s an exception to every rule with Section 31 but still. Even then I appreciate it for what it is. An attempt at something new. It didn’t work for me but I’m not going to fault them for trying new things when Star Trek constantly screams “EXPLORE STRANGE NEW WORLDS YOU DUMB FUCK AND BOLDLY GO WHERE NO ONE HAS GONE BEFORE YOU ABSOLUTE TWATWAFFLES”
