Well, it’s over 20 years old now, so probably. It’s also really easy to softmod recently. Last year I got one for $25 at a thrift shop and modded it, so it’s also a great time to get one.
So far, I only played Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie on it though, and messed around a bit with the first release of Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition.

RetroGaming@lemmy.world•How do you feel on Kirby games?English
6·23 days agoAs someone whose favorite game as a kid was Kirby’s Adventure, yes, Kirby is supposed to be accessible to young children. 100% completion can be a bit hard. I remember Sakurai saying that he tuned Kirby to be the easiest to control in Smash games because kids like to play him. As an adult, they’re relaxing to play. They’re not all easy though – Canvas Curse might not be retro, but I think it’s hard!
I just subscribed. I would love to review people’s code.

Programming@programming.dev•What is your development environment?
2·2 months agoI try so hard to move away from this but I seem to always end up crawling back because something is missing or broken. DotRush is hopeful, though (assuming C#)
I would love to see a minecart / rail update. They were once a critical piece of Minecraft, now often neglected as there are much better ways to get around.

1·5 months agoWhy is storing resources in the database unusual? I’ve done that my entire career, and I’ve believed it to be a best practice.

1·5 months agoI use this for NewPipe as there seems to be no alternative for Linux, and I can sync my subscriptions from my phone which is nice. It works surprisingly well. I also tried RedReader but it doesn’t seem to work.
Yep, that’s still true. However, you can install ABadAvatar onto a USB stick which will run the exploit automatically upon startup. It usually takes about a minute for the exploit to successfully start and occasionally crashes (only happened to me once).
