28·1 year agonormally i don’t argue with randos on the internet but i typed this up elsewhere and figured it could fit here, not for your sake, but for the benefit of other users, so…
do the people who’re saying shit like “well do you not drive cars either because the auto industry is unethical” seriously not realize that contributing to free and open source software is involving yourself in a COMMUNITY? like that i’m warning people to steer clear of a shitty social space that’s been known to be hostile to our kind in the past??? i’m not just doing this for ragebait engagement farming lmao
