basic settings being buried deep in the menus is definitely a thing ✅
Nah, there is:
- A special hotkey that allows you to find and execute virtually any command. Same in vscode with ctrl+shift+p.
- Text-based search in the settings dialog.
So even though things are buried somewhere deep, it’s easy to find them.
freezing at critical moments can occasionally be a thing ✅
Sounds like a
skillhardware issue tbh.
Damn, our hiring process was wrong all this time!

I think both are fine. Regular people don’t need more than “app”, but professionals still know and use other words too.

3·10 months agoWorld champion Max Verstappen said last year that a 24-race calendar was “not sustainable,” a feeling shared by peers including George Russell and Fernando Alonso. Verstappen thought people working in F1 would end up having shorter careers due to the length of the calendar.
Even Crofty and Brundle skip races, I can’t imagine how hard it is for the teams. And yet, despite so many races, we keep losing real race tracks and replacing them with faceless street circuits 🤷
What’s the actual argument here? If Mercurial satisfies/satisfied the development team, then they should use it. I don’t find this crazy. Like others pointed out, it’s not like Mercurial was a dead project without maintenance.

8·10 months agoWhat are the advantages of usenet when it comes to your security? Given that you’re using VPN anyway. But with usenet you also need to find a way to pay anonymously for it, otherwise what’s the point?
