Yeah but has Sheila Ford Hamp ever been dumb enough to get busted at a rub and tug parlor?
clever & funny bio goes here
Yeah but has Sheila Ford Hamp ever been dumb enough to get busted at a rub and tug parlor?
Yep I was referring to Urban “I kick players and miss team flights so I can drink with 19 year old coeds” Meyer
At least he’s not the guy who is physically abusive to players
By context I’m guessing “new” means “team that missed playoffs last year & made it this year”
That’s certainly one way to get your name in the record books
Signing him to that contract in the first place was one of the dumber moves in terms of roster construction I’ve ever seen (from someone not named Jerry Jones). Even a Deshaun Watson without the sexual assault habit wasn’t worth what they gave him.
I loved the Harpoon series of naval warfare simulation games. I haven’t played since the late 90s but they were a lot of fun.
I knew Ohtani’s deal would eventually get surpassed but I didn’t think it would happen this quickly.
I’m surprised Nevada is that high
Not a high bar to meet
Concussions could be one thing. But I think there’s enough prestige & cachet in the QB position, not to mention salary potential, that concussion risks ought not to limit the candidate pool overly much.
Personally, I think there are some major factors:
I don’t think anything could realistically be done on the second point, but on the first one it would help if more colleges ran offensive schemes typical of what’s in the NFL.
Problem is, schemes in the NFL are great for situations where teams are closely matched. But college teams often have wide disparities in physical talent that can only be offset through creative schemes.
I always figured that there are 32 starting QB jobs in the NFL at any time, but there are rarely more than 10 good QBs at any time. Most teams will have to make do with mediocre QB play and hope to hell their run game & defense are pretty good.
Jerruh is an idiot for building his stadium along a SW-NE axis.
He should’ve built it along a NW-SE axis instead. Sure, he would’ve had to slide the stadium a little further west toward Collins Street, but it would’ve meant one less reason for him to be the laughingstock of the league.
He could still maybe salvage it if he put some good tinting on the SW windows.
No shows in DC I guess?
I’m glad to see the Yankees lose, I hate them the most. It’s a shame that it was to the Dodgers, who I hate the second most.
Literally any other combination of teams from this year’s playoff field would’ve been one I would be happy to watch. Especially if we’d had Cleveland from the AL (longest title drought in the AL playoffs) and either San Diego or Milwaukee from the NL (never won a WS).
I can’t even take joy from Ohtani winning a WS, because of who he won with.
Instead we got the two teams with the most arrogant and entitled fanbases in the sport, so I’ve been watching Schitt’s Creek instead.
In a league full of raging assholes who’ve been coddled since elementary school for being good at football, thereby allowing them to avoid consequences at an absurd rate, this guy is probably the least sympathetic of them all.
I won’t say I’m happy to see him get injured, but I don’t have one iota of sympathy for him or for the Jerry Jones-level idiots in the Browns management who gave him such an absurd contract.
Aside from his victims, about the only people in this I feel sorry for are the Browns fanbase.
If Jerruh truly wants the best for his team, he’ll step back from all his duties other than being a grandfather with whatever time he has left on this earth. Otherwise, I’m sure fans of other NFC East teams will continue to enjoy the spectacle of self-sabotage. If only the Yankees, Lakers, Bama, and Duke were this good at shooting themselves in the foot…
Standing by his man until a better one comes available.
Hopefully they find a local buyer with a minimal amount of drama and stupidity
You mean Jerruh is planning to make a bad decision and hire a guy that was coaching high school less than a decade ago? Color me surprised!
