Oooh, it has Yoshi? I like Yoshi!

That’s sad, not a big fan of rogueli*es. 😁
Nintendo is actually pretty good for it’s employees, and at developing games. The main reason people don’t like it is how strongly they try to protect their IP.
That’s interesting about 10HP run, though I don’t think I am going to attempt it anytime soon. 😀
Ah, it has been quite a while since I played Yakuza 2, don’t remember who the villains were, but will look it up.
I agree about N64 graphics. While I don’t mind 16bit pixel art, early 3D graphics haven’t aged well, but Ocarina of Time, and Perfect Dark (from the trailer) don’t look that bad. If other games of that age are similar, than I think I can try a few more of them.
Yeah, the game looks great, it has been on my wishlist since they announced it. Do share your opinions after finishing the game.
Do share some pics from your island. And your Minecraft chateau.
You makes game so difficult, 10 HP run sounds pretty tough.
Who is Keiji Muto and Masahiro Chono? Japanese wrestlers? What are their in-game name?
It keeps happening to me. Started a game on PS5, wanted something portable, so started one on Switch too. Both were slowish games, so started an action game. All these games requires somewhat long session so started one that can be played in small bursts…
Sea of Stars is pretty high on my wish list, so will probably play it within 2 years or so…
They all sound like non-answers to me. They can’t say anything about anything specific, they are making more games, they will keep making more games.
I played Ori 1 recently and enjoyed it a lot. Not a perfect game, some sections / design choices felt a bit dated but other that, a very good game. And yean, the music is pretty nice.
Happens. Hope you got time to play over the weekend,
Someone mentioned it here too, I think. Basically switch to controller configuration 1.2 in the game, then in Switcn settings, swap the left and right sticks. That’s the general gist of it, though, there might be other changes too.
I have to agree about the controls, and have the same issue with right analogue and c buttons.
I am still super early, so haven’t gotten stuck anywhere, let’s see how long that lasts.
Yeah, I have just left the forest, and the game is still fun. My biggest issue right now is the controls on Switch. Not a deal breaker though, at least not yet.
That’s nice. I just finished The Lamp Campfire and started Ocarina of Time, for the first time ever!
I wanted to try Perfect Dark too, but went for Goldeneye first. Haven’t played it seriously yet, but did setup the controls and played the first mission a little bit.
Hmm… interesting. It makes sense that they improved some stuff in the sequel, but everyone has different taste, and what one finds interesting, others can find boring.
I recently read that DQ-III remake will have quality of life improvements, like recall functionality from DQ-VI (just what I have read, haven’t played either of those games), so they probably modernized some other things too, and will probably do the same for DQ-I and II. Would just have to wait and see.
I would prefer to just wait for the official release 😀
Thanks for the suggestion though!
There are many smaller games on Switch suitable for this. What kind of game are you looking for?
