I don’t know, I thought it might be more cultural in the 60’s Americans still remembered being a middle power and Europe being several older superpowers like the Federation who’s big new kid on the block but they keep running in old superpowers. Where as by the 90’s there really wasn’t a superpower besides America much like the Federation who’s dealing with the Klingon empire in decline and other middle powers growing but no superpowers

There’s something interesting in the comparison between TOS everything afterwards in the way there was a lot of “super” species that the enterprise ran in to in TOS but after that from TNG there was only Q. From TNG onwards most of the others that the federation runs into are roughly at their level or just above it. DS9 had the wormhole aliens but aside from them even the founders weren’t individually more powerful then any given human. It like after the 60’s we weren’t really interested in stories about beings greater than humanity.

Death’s Door - I’m not going to lie I’m old. 3d platformers, hell any platformers that require quick reflexes and precise controls aren’t normally my bag, but this funky little crow is so much fun to play as, I don’t mind the difficulty. (Which I have to admit isn’t that hard I just suck)

There’s a lot of great advice here, but the most important piece of I ever got as an expecting parent was “Your baby isn’t my baby” Keep in mind that most pieces of advise you get are probably helpful but they might not apply to you and partner and your new kid.

But for me the second best was to see if your wife can express some bottles of milk so that you can do some feedings. Breast milk is great but it doesn’t need to be fresh from the tap. If you’ve got a few bottles in the fridge you can take over a feed and let her sleep. It’s also great for you bonding with you kid.

Yeah Scorsese has shit he wants to say, and it’s interesting and compelling stuff. But it doesn’t fit in a tight ninety minutes and I miss a tight ninety minutes.

I mean Scorsese can tell his story how ever he wants but Killers sure did feel too long and too short at the same time.

Honestly, the cartridge system was a (pardon the pun) game changer. Sure someone did it first but Atari really made it main stream. It allowed for a lot of what we see today. Sure you were dropping what was about a $1,000 in today’s money on a toy for you and your kids but you could play so many games on it.
The idea that you had a machine in your living room that you could change what it did just by putting in a new cartridge was mind breaking in the 70’s. Sure your TV could play 5 or 6 channels maybe but it still was a TV, getting a Atari made it a home entertainment system. The whole one machine that did so many different games paved the way for the whole home entertainment universe we have today.
