Ah yeah. I gave up on jellyfin pretty quickly as I do everything on my local network and jelly isn’t for that I guess.

I’m kinda of lost with this. I run 3 librelec units on RaspberryPis velcroed to the back of TVs in my house and once I set them up they run easy as. I set them by setting what my network folders are ( I’m a bit of a data hoarder so I’ve got each tv series in their own folders and each movie and their filled in its own folders) and then hitting scan. Is it because of Jellyfin that you’re having problems? I tried setting it up but gave up when I realised I’d have to let it be a server and frankly I don’t trust my in-laws not to fuck up and post all my details on their Facebook to show off their new personalise steaming services.
I just finished up Spirtfarer. A sweet gentle game, that really hits the feels. To quote Yahtzee “full of light and wonder and melancholy humor, which does rather juxtapose against the underlying knowledge that our job is essentially to take our passengers one by one into the woods and ice them in the back of the head”
I mean right it’s weird and not what I would do. But you know that the person who did it was in love with idea and it’s nice to see that kind of passion.
I loved TLOU and was totally involved in the storytelling. I’ve never been so emotionally attached to the characters in a game as I was with Joel and Ellie. The real strength was how the writers used the video game’s abilities to change your POV character to really drag you into the story. Right from the tutorial where you start off as Joel’s daughter and by becoming her at the start the twist at the end of the tutorial really hits harder then you expect because you’ve been her. By the end of the game by playing as both characters you really become invested in their relationship and attached they are which makes the roaring rampage of revenge at the end in the hospital somehow totally expected right up to the shoot out in surgery. I mean I was so invested in the relationship that my hands were shaking and I’m ashamed to admit that I shoot the nurses as well.
In all fairness to Ransom, maybe he was thinking of the spider cows from S01E01?
Yeah let the writers do whatever they need to get us to the rest of the immortal weapons stories. It was one of the best runs of the comics and one that would make for a fun season.
Honestly Iron Fist was just starting to get good when it was cancelled. The whole 1st season was a wasted opportunity but the 2nd season was totally on an upward trajectory.
Eh, I prefer Mancala then any off your new fangled ‘board’ games
I have to say this one is my favourite so far.
I’ve got to second this recommendation. I’ve been using Kodi for almost 12 years and I really love its tracking. And it’s got a heap of other features as well.
• Worf hugged Alexander in “Reunion”
I simply refuse to believe this. There is no way Worf could have acknowledged Alexander’s existence long enough to hug him. But maybe this says something about my own upbringing that I rather not look at.
Ok here’s what I do … but be aware that I’ve had this same set for about 10 years so I’m sure everyone will bag on it but it works. On my main HTPC (the living room 60" screen) I have run Ubuntu as the background OS and auto open Kodi with the Confluence skin. I’ve added a few add on’s for streaming and an add on that spans a Steam instance in Big Picture for my steam games and an add on for Lutris for other games. Lutris takes a bit of fiddling with to get it to run your games (a lot of set up scripts and downloading runners for emulators, but nothing to bad). I added a MCE remote and a IR receiver to move around in Kodi and attached a couple of Xbox Bluetooth controllers for gaming. I boosted my set up by moving my Kodi database on to my server with mySQL so that the librelec’s running in the bedrooms all share the same database but that’s a fancy touch that took a hour or so of set up that you don’t need to do.
