At first, I thought this must be some abandoned barracks or aircraft hangar that got retrofitted into a private residence, but then I saw it was purpose built in 2004.

The kid sounded like he had a plan of his own and was working towards it, so it might just be as simple as mom has a car and he doesn’t, or it’s his first apartment and she knows what to look out for when moving into a new one, which he’s never had experience doing. The article doesn’t make it sound like he’s some totally dependent man-child, but it also doesn’t elaborate enough to really say why she went along.
Stroll absolutely has his flashes of brilliance, but he’s up against the double whammy of otherwise being a mediocre to disappointing driver occupying his seat on his father’s dime rather than his merit, along with punctuating his bouts of mediocrity with absolutely stupid moves much more often than brilliant drives. Unless he really turns things around in a major way before he retires, I doubt he’s ever going to get to enjoy any broad popularity or acclaim.
Given how it can be circumvented by fiddling with DNS according to the article, I doubt it’ll really do anything besides stoke negative sentiment towards Vietnamese studios. Besides, you can buy plenty of the games elsewhere, so even if it worked, all you’re accomplishing is making it slightly more annoying for gamers to buy what they want, rather than having it in one place.
Magnussen makes some dumb and overly aggressive moves, but I don’t see how this was one of them. I don’t get how Magnussen gets a 10 second penalty for that, but Piastri pushing Sainz wide and playing bumper cars to stay on track gets deemed a racing incident and no further investigation.
Inconsistent stewarding and F1, a pair for the ages.
Why on earth can’t stewards investigate incidents that occur with more than a dozen laps left in the race before the end of the race? They can hand out instant 10 second penalties for some incidents, but others could occur on lap 1 and still get the decision to investigate after the session is over.
Stroll just needs to be out of F1 already, he just keeps showing he is not on the level to do this. Guy makes the dumbest mistakes and never seems to own up to it. He’s slow as hell most days, to boot.
Yeah, the gap he got in 10 laps in the sprint was insane, too.
Even if English is your first language, it’s not always easy to maintain your composure when talking about a topic you’re emotionally invested in or under a lot of stress about. I would take a different stance about a driver that drops f bombs every other word, but this prudishness about occasional profanity is silly.
