There’s a difference between constructive criticism and cynical criticism
You’re in the wrong sub my cynical friend
Terror attacks are pretty rare in the US, though they’re also pretty rare in France and the UK.
Houston has over 9 km of underground tunnels too, connecting the western side of its downtown.
Then it grew on the dog. It grew on the couch. It grew on the house and the neighborhoid block. It grew on the town, the county, the state. It grew on the Earth, the sun, all the way to Oort cloud. When it grew on Sagittarius A* we stopped keeping track.
Do nothing, and voilà! No makeup.
Do nothing, and voilà! Beard.
Beards take effort to remove, not to grow, and exist completely independently from human fashion and technology
I love Battletoads, but it’s so hard.

I guess FFVIII hit at the right time for me, it was always my favorite, and I’ve come back to it many times over the years. It’s so calming to play, and the side quests and games can keep you distracted from the main plot for days or weeks.

When meeting with each other, heads of state who speak different languages always have their own translators present
While most of these leaders speak more than one language, many of them would not feel comfortable engaging in diplomacy or negotiations outside their native language
Why does one need to connect everything like this? The only connected system (besides computers/entertainment ) I have in my entire house is a security system. What benefit is there to all that other stuff? Doesn’t it add quite a bit of cost?
“Ignore the behavior” is a radical oversimplification. A better approach would be to make sure you’ve developed the skills in yourself to remain completely calm and unaffected when a tantrum happens, then you make yourself present but calm and uninterested until the child calms down, at which point you immediately reward them being calm with affection and attention, or whatever it is they would perceive as a reward. Without the reward part, ignoring a negative behavior risks worsening it over time. Also this is clearly not always possible, eg if you’re in a public setting or if the child is doing something dangerous.
