I’m glad Nintendo is finally starting to realize the potential of playable Zelda. Her style of gameplay will put a fresh new spin on the series. I also hope to see somewhere down the line a game where you can choose to play as either Zelda or Link and your choice will give you a different experience and cause puzzles to have different solutions, which would be good for a replay. Such a game would also have the potential for two-player co-op with vastly different abilities.
That’s true to some extent. I don’t agree with hard censorship like that, but there is also the risk of getting astroturfed and brigaded like reddit, which had a clear example as far back as 2013 where Eglin Air Force Base, FL showed up as “most addicted city”. The goal of censorship is to give your own opinions more space, so I’m not exactly upset if other instances are moderated in a different way when there are plenty of other instances moderated in a different way. The fediverse offers plenty of space.

I’m pointing out that they’re dismissing all opposing views as propaganda from shills, which itself is not contributing anything or in fact contributing negative value because it reduces discussions down to “my opinion is the one real truth and anyone who disagrees is a shill”. Your stance is basically: “I had disagreements with/don’t like users from an instance, please block an entire instance for all other users in the instance I’m in”. Why are you making your problems everyone else’s?
I used to use righthand rule, which I naturally settled into and had absolutely no problems with, but then I was told I was holding my chopsticks wrong so I keep trying to do standard grip with mixed success. I think I’ll just go back to righthand rule, which I feel gives me the best grip strength.
That’s funny that they think that the number must go up. Phones are getting more and more powerful, and I’ve actually seen pretty impressive desktop modes for them. I’m not talking about $1000 phones either, but $200 phones. You could easily do office work on such a phone with a docking station, plugged into a monitor with a keyboard and mouse. You can even do some decent gaming on such a setup.
Besides that, hardware in general just lasts longer. I built my current PC in 2016 that I’m still using and can still play new games (I played Armored Core 6 to completion most recently). With the laughable prices of graphics cards now, I’m content with keeping this system going for even more years. I may even opt to go for an APU in my next build, if only to tell nvidia to fuck off with their price gouging.
