An eight episode Eternals show would’ve at least given time to develop characters, actually establish the necessary world-building, and make the villain more than an animated mannequin. Can’t say it would’ve been great, but likely better than it was as a movie.

Honestly, if they’d just made it as a series, it might’ve worked.

Misleading post title. They already discovered a cross at this site in the '90s and Christianity had already spread to Europe by this time, so this take is basically wrong on all accounts. The article itself doesn’t even come close to making the point OP is trying to.
