Wait, they defederated from us? I thought I was noticing less of their… uh… content around.
Used to be aRatherDapperFox@lemmy.ml. Moved for various reasons, mainly server load.
Wannabe streamer, here for all your mediocre gaming needs.
Wait, they defederated from us? I thought I was noticing less of their… uh… content around.
… what are your biases against me? 😅
It's interesting to see this in open discussion, as it's something I hadn't realized I did, but I do.
Not here in the Fediverse, as far as I can tell… If you do find one, let me know. 😅
Meanwhile, I guess I should up my game posting in here.
EDIT: Loving the animation. Totodile is my favorite Pokémon.
I disagree, I think it’s still perfectly reasonable to criticize Plex. Specifically for that complacency. Just because they were an important step to getting where we are does not mean they are above reproach.
Besides, I wasn’t really criticizing Plex? All I said was that I prefer the UI/UX in Jellyfin, and that Jellyfin is still “Just Working” where Plex failed for reasons unknown. Plex isn’t bad, I enjoyed using it while I did. I just found something FOSS to take it’s place. 🙂
Wait, is 7zip not available on Linux? Then what have I been using??
I am by no means a master at OBS, and I wouldn’t know where to point you to learn. Everything I know I’ve learned by either poking around in the software or googling specific questions, i.e. “how to overlay twitch chat in OBS”. As you can probably guess, I used to use it to stream to twitch. Not very suddenly, mind, but I did it. Lol!
OBS is designed for streaming out and recording video, not really for music production. I’m sure there are some FOSS music production softwares worth checking out, though!
I recently switch to OnlyOffice for their UI/UX, and it’s been brilliant. LibreOffice is a delight, though.
I’ve been looking for a good password manager, and I’ve heard a LOT of good things about Bitwarden… guess I’ll have to bite and see what all the fuss is about!
I adore OBS. I’ve been teaching my friends the basics on how to use it, as they’ve all been using some proprietary crap that makes their lives marginally easier in one or two areas but adds a huge headache in others.
This is the answer I came to give. They’re flowers, they’re pink, and they’re bugs. Checks all three boxes for me. Lol!
Well, your PFP is a Glaceon… Either that or Eevee?
Oh, that makes sense. Guess I’ll just have to strap in for the ride, then. Thanks!
I have tried a Ghost 2 sandwich to no avail. Will going up to Ghost 3 make that much of a difference, do you think?
Given my undying love for the bug type you’d think I’d have used more net balls in my Pokémon journey, but uh… Nope. I don’t think I’ve ever tossed a single net ball, ever. I should look into that.
… Huh. So it is. Legends: Arceus was my first interaction with a Heavy Ball, and in those games it gets a bonus to capture any Pokémon that hasn’t noticed the player. How odd.
I also totally understand where you’re coming from. If I was a more patient person, I’d probably be the same. I am, unfortunately, not that disciplined. 😅
I’ve had my Orthworm moment.
I went after the Quaking Earth titan. Orthworm was on my team essentially to leech EXP, being ~10 levels below the rest of my Pokémon at the time. Everyone else fainted, so in went the worm so I could toss a revive on one of my stronger 'mons, and… Wait, the titan did how little damage to this goofy fucker?
Orthworm basically single-handledly bodied that titan for me. He made it to the Elite Four, lol. Long live the Orthworm!
Hahah! Well, now that it’s been pointed out I can’t unsee it. It does look like a zipper. Professor Laventon put the zipper on facing the wrong way to open the pokéball though. 😭
I always forget about the cherish ball.
The level ball is particularly nice.
I am also a sucker for the basic pokéball. I think it’s the ball I use the second most, right after ultra balls. And there’s always something so satisfying about catching a late game 'mon in a basic pokéball. No frills, no special bonuses, just me, the 'mon, and a good ole pokéball as Arceus intended.
This is wonderful news.
