I mean, we have a pretty significant portion of the populace being told almost on the daily that the sooner that they stop breathing, the sooner they get to join the cosmic orgy.

First off, you’re wrong. Second off, it has held up better than The Crow. Third, you’re wrong.
Just because people say there’s no such thing as a wrong opinion doesn’t mean that that’s actually true, and I’m going to use your response as evidence thereof.
All kidding aside, which yes I am kidding, I respect your right to have your own opinion about the movie. It’s not even in my top 20. I just think that it’s a very good movie, specifically for the time and the framing that it was placed in.
It told at the time what was a very new and interesting story with a crossover between fantasy and modern reality and bringing computers into fantasy story was basically unheard of at the time.
It realistically approached the concept of immortals in the modern world, while telling the backstory of the immortals, and explaining why we should care about the protagonist, and wedging in a love story and romances, the mentor’s training saga of the traditional Hero’s Journey, a bunch of fight scenes, and it did all of that without being a 3 movie franchise.
It’s an incredibly ambitious movie, and in my opinion, just because it did not reach the highest heights, does not mean that it did not scale a mountain.
On a scale of one to five, I would honestly give it a four.
The acting is pretty good.
The storyline is interesting and unique.
And you also have to take into account what was available to the writers and the movie producers at the time.
This movie is going to have to be amazing to have been worth being made at all, in my opinion.
If they’re not aiming for better than the original in every regard, they should just stop now.
I’m not saying that we should start getting pitchforks or anything right now. I’m just saying that like, they need to know that that is an option and that if they keep pushing us, they’re gonna start painting targets on their own back.
I mean, that’s two billionaires down in a year, and they’re still ramping things up. Next year, it’ll be four. The year after that, it’ll be eight. And in like 15 years, we won’t have any billionaires left unless they fucking straighten up an act right.
And look at the money.
The reasoning for this is to eventually lock the internet down completely to put up fences and paywalls everywhere to every single site so that even if you pay for the privilege of using the internet, you will have to pay more money to actually use the internet.
It is all about controlling you and taking every single penny they possibly can out of your pocket.
All of the tracking, all of the identity verification, all of the invasive watching every single thing you do on your computer and your phone, everywhere, all of the time always, is all about milking you for every single penny they can.
Even though they are insanely rich, beyond the imagination of any human being that has ever lived in the hundreds of thousands of years of humanity’s existence on this planet they still don’t have enough money and they will still never be satisfied with how much money they have.
The fact that there are free websites where people can congregate and communicate and have fun with each other without paying them for the privilege galls them.
It grinds their heart and soul the way watching a dog get shot in the head at the end of old yeller does to a normal person.
These people are evil, and we need to stop them.
When it comes down to it, we may have to rise up and slay them.
The only time the phrase “do it for the kids” is actually valuable is when it’s someone asking you to grill hot dogs at a picnic.
If it’s a politician saying it, “do it for the kids” is slang for “bend over and take it up the ass because otherwise you’re a bad person”.
Just like my penis
I don’t think Dean Cain has ever actually been relevant.
One factor that is often overlooked in these discourses is why?
I mean, Hollywood knows how to make good movies. They’ve been doing it for over a hundred years.
And I have a theory about this.
See, there’s an entire branch of food science that companies use to analyze their foods, to make sure that they are tantalizing and appealing, but never satisfying. The reason for this is because if a food is not satisfying, consumers will tend to eat more of it, or will continue to go back to it over and over again, because there’s some part of their Brain that’s telling them this was tasty food and I want more of it and never seems to get enough.
This results in increased sales of food for the companies that are making these foods. And it has made me aware of the fact that if you get tired of eating a food, that probably means that it’s a good food.
I said all of that to say, I now believe they are doing the same thing with movies. People watch movies because they want to be entertained, they want to be told stories and shown sights and have an experience that is above and beyond the mundane, right?
And I think they realized that if they told slightly unsatisfying stories, Then the consumer’s brain would not be satisfied and would therefore go out and watch another movie, and another movie, and a TV show, and another movie, trying to get the satisfaction of experiencing a movie for the first time and being satisfied by it.
As long as they keep the tantalization factor high and the satisfaction factor low enough that people don’t reject the entire system, then every single person that indulges in watching movies will consume more, meaning they would make more money by serving us movies and TV shows that do not satisfy the way that they should.
Anyway, that’s my theory.
One thing that’s overlooked about the Romans and lead exposure is that they did have organic forms of oral chelation available, which helped mitigate the effects. The most commonly quoted version of which is eating garlic, but many foods and nutrients can either decrease the amount of lead you absorb from the other foods that you eat, or increase the amount of lead that you excrete, which decreases their effects on your body and brain.
Of course, these foods by themselves are not going to completely remove all of the lead in your blood, but it would have reduced the amount, so it’s not like they were completely raw-dogging lead in their wine.

My guess is that the question is, “How old was god when he created the universe?”
or, for a darker take, “How old was God when he died?”
Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of the hammerhead shark as it fell was Oh no, not again. Many people have speculated that if we knew exactly why the shark had thought that we would know a lot more about the nature of the universe than we do now.
What does this have to do with PC gaming?
That’s literally the remedy that they have. Issue an arrest warrant for the officer that violated and contravened the court’s orders and keep them in custody until the person they falsely arrested is returned home.
Everybody else that assisted that officer with committing the crime should also be arrested and held until the person is returned home.
You only have to do that one time for all of the other officers to know that they will get their shit kicked in if they continue to contravene the court’s orders.
That slow run was like ballet.
