If there’s too much politics going on then that’ll make it difficult to work as a good team. Newey doesn’t limit himself to just designing. He also wants to be involved with drivers and how the team is setup.
His book is pretty telling on this. At various times it wasn’t his design work that made a change, it was things like how the team is setup.

In his book he mentions that the team is really important. He wants to have the ability to be able to determine how a team works. Ensure that people can speak up, not too much politics, etc.
Pretty sure the power struggles together with Honer resulted in Newey deciding this will impact making a good car.

I saw multiple answers on that. One said that the garden leave could start immediately. Then the non compete would start now instead of when his contract ends. Though another said that a non compete would only begin when his contract ends.

Stewards seemed to have looked at the result to determine the penalty. That goes against what they said in other cases, that they penalize based upon what was done, not what happens after.
Likely coming out because of the instability at Red Hat. Newey doesn’t limit himself to just designing the car, he has an opinion on the entire team. So if a different team is better structured or could be better structured than Red Bull I could see him switching. At least, that’s what I noticed from his book.

Did F1 run out of contract with AWS
They mentioned AWS, why would they do that if that wasn’t about AWS sponsoring that? I did see a prediction of one car overtaking another. It was completely inaccurate.
They take up way less space than what’s allocated for cars. But because it appears different you’ll not notice that the car parking takes away so much space that could be allocated to e.g. a wider sidewalk, dedicated bike lines, more green, or parking for more space efficient methods of transport such as rental scooters.
