Yeah, I’m not certain he would be able to come up with ways to insult people that aren’t just projecting the insults that hurt him. He doesn’t even usually know what they mean at first. He’ll just project onto them a random negative thing people have said about him and then either deny it if it didn’t stick, or lean into it if it did.
He’s not creative enough to come up with insults actually about them on the spot. Those have to be pre-planned or handed to him.

Far as I can tell, they are individually both popular condiments in most countries, and using them together is even pretty popular in most countries still. So it must be some specific reference I just can’t find?
If you are not familiar with the history of this game, it’s understandable to be skeptical. Obviously in most cases that would be a reasonable assumption. But in this specific case, it being cancelled out of spite actually makes way more sense than it being cancelled because it wouldn’t have been financially viable.

The only thing they did wrong was having the key dumping info associated with them. Nothing else needed to have been done different. Without that, they would have been completely legal. Dumping roms is totally fine.
You want people to know it was you that did all this technically impressive work and problem solving. Had they not done that one thing, they would have been fine putting their names on their work.
Most emulation projects are completely legal and something to be proud of. And it’s some of the technically most challenging problem solving that coders could have on their resume. Making a good emulator is incredibly impressive. You very much can get a job based on that.
We can always crawl further in to hide from scary normal people, but the normal people need this type of platform too. We can just subscribe to our nerdy communities and stop browsing all or everything once there is too much stuff to browse that way anyway.
When I look back at what a Game boy game costed, and scale it up to today money(as much as $60cad, equivalent to $120cad in today money)… I feel so bad for my parents. I know they had a bit more spare money back then even being considered poor than what people have now. But it’s pretty crazy how much they costed. And our first family computer was over $3000cad in 1990, which would be more than $6000cad today.
Despite how it feels, gaming is pretty cheap now. The prices may be close to the highest number they have ever been, they are not close to the highest cost they have been.

Umm… not sure you are aware that non-profits still pay their employees. Non-profit is a pretty common way of running a business. All it means is there is no incentive to make more money than is necessary for the companies needs. Any extra income is just re-invested in the company or donated to charity if un-needed.
Basically just means there's no need to look for more ways to squeeze money out of the customers if they are already happy. And prioritizing usefulness rather than bloating the software is incentivised.
Maybe I missed some context to the question, but I didn't know my ideal social media platform had to be something that already existed.
If we're talking about my dream, that is my dream. A platform that isn't trying to make money. It's not wrong to want to make money, but a platform that is trying to make money isn't my dream platform.

Paying for services is fine, profit is the problem. Covering costs is all I want. No need for any agenda or hidden user costs. Just providing a service that people actually want to use.
All the individual details are nice-to-haves, but the main important criteria I'm looking for, is no one trying to make money off of it.
We use honeycomb blinds here. You can get them in partially transparent or blackout. They are spring-loaded, and you really can’t use them wrong, pull them up or down as fast or as crooked as you want.
