You created this server?
This has been going on for 16 years? I thought it was started in the mid or late 2010s.
So why doesn’t a random follower posting a link on Mastodon cause server load issues, but a popular follower does?
Looks like it might be cool to have.
What’s up with the pronoun thing? Why is gender suddenly replaced with saying they/them?
I’m pretty sure that trademarks were invented so companies could prevent confusion like this by using the legal system. That way no-one can try profiting off a similar branding, and no-one can harm their reputation by making poor products apparently in another company’s name. W3C has a trademark registration for their name. https://www.w3.org/trademarks/
Wait what? Why does it ban you if you use third party applications to use it?
So that means I can add moderator permissions to users on other instances?
I’ve created the communities on Lemmy.world already, can I add moderation permissions to another account on another instance or am I required to moderate Lemmy.world communities/forums on Lemmy.world?
What about the instances I created on Lemmy.world? Will I be able to moderate them from other instances?
What kind of behavior happened during July 1?
I feel like when the Reddit API controversy happened I was more inclined to switch due to the blackout vs Twitter which didn’t have nearly as instant of an event that would happen to get me off. Now all of a sudden because of Reddit I’m on various Fediverse projects such as Funkwhale, Mastodon, Kbin, and Lemmy.
The “He Gets Us” ad must be the most derisive ad hosted on Reddit. Nothing but complaints about it.
So you’re saying I act like an old grumpy man but at a young age?
Wait, so the recent topics that occur suddenly on Twitter aren’t the normal things people talk about? So the hype on Twitter events are fake?
Wait, this instance only started on June 1? How did it grow so quickly compared to the rest?
Do you think that’s overly complicated for the tutorial? It should be easy to make it more simple.
How do you appoint new mods though? I don’t see a menu to moderate the communities I created.
Maybe they’re trying to become the new Internet Explorer?
