CBC Gem is a Canadian streaming service that lets you watch full competition replays. It’s a Canadian broadcast so some favouratism but it shows all competitors. You’ll have to sign up with an email account.

There’s a lot to unpack when it comes to the future impact of AI. I worked in IT from the early 80’s until 2010’s and loved the same challenges of programming that are mentioned. The main consideration and focus of my programming years was user interface. Even the most considerate attempts at design could be met with confusion. Will there even be a need for an interface of any consequence?
I think the obvious problem with the initial implementation of AI is how utterly incompetent it has been. It’s release and adoption was far too haphazard and unregulated, which is always the case in a world with slow governments and competitive greed. How do you get an AI that lies without complete malpractice by the implementers?
I personally appreciate the extensive possibilities of the freedom AI can bring. I have far less faith in the stupidity of the people who will implement it.

Thanks to everyone who makes this open environment possible. I used to be in IT but don’t have the new knowledge to help out, so again thanks.

While I agree with your thought, what I meant is that all of us are stupid for living in our current reality.

It amazes me how collectively stupid we humans are. The “reuse” of industrial waste being promoted as a benefit is laughable. My earliest astonished reaction decades ago was learning about the tailings ponds that were holding all toxic liquid refuse from the oil sands in Alberta. And don’t get me started on fracking liquid. Even as someone with no chemical knowledge or understanding I will promise you that of the anywhere from 300 to 700 chemicals I’ve heard they use, a lot of that has to be a convenient way for chemical companies to dispose of their own waste products.
I didn’t pay close attention but I think there was no doubt the men’s team touched and the women’s didn’t. I think the word cheating is far too strong for a situation where no real advantage was gained. There is a reason for the rule but I think breaking it was just an honest mistake.
