3·5 months agoWe have multiple streaming services available thanks to phone plans, family, etc… 99.9% of the time our TV is on, it’s on Pluto TV. Multiple free Star Trek channels rolling 24/7!
Our dog has separation anxieties so we leave the TV on to help create noise when we leave. Helps mask some of the neighbors noise which freaks him out -car doors, bicycles, people existing… No worry of Pluto asking him if he is still watching either!
This is really awesome! I saw your post the other day about it and thought it was a great idea. You work quick! I already found a new community I would not have thought to look for otherwise.
It is hard for me to see and manipulate on mobile, but that’s totally on me. So I’ll be back in a bit. I’m sure someone smarter than me may have more helpful input than that if you are looking for feedback!
So I thought I was gonna head to bed, but… guess I can stay up and peruse for a little while…
Thank you!!

6·2 years agoI like it! I don’t know to look for something if I don’t know it exists yet. Something like this would really help with browsing.

5·2 years agoOh yay! Happy birthday to a wonderful actress! It is mine too, and I’m going use this as some kind of brag, or at least a new way to wedge Star Trek into a conversation.

3·3 years agoThose are all really neat this year. My dad used to have all the OG lighted ships from Hallmark. I always hoped I’d get them but they went to a boy cousin. Maybe this is where I now start my own collection.
I always enjoy the Data centered ones!

I had to go looking to see if there was a distinction. There is!
Hail is a form of solid precipitation.[1] It is distinct from ice pellets (American English “sleet”), though the two are often confused.[2] It consists of balls or irregular lumps of ice, each of which is called a hailstone.[3] Ice pellets generally fall in cold weather, while hail growth is greatly inhibited during low surface temperatures.
Unlike other forms of water ice precipitation, such as graupel (which is made of rime ice), ice pellets (which are smaller and translucent), and snow (which consists of tiny, delicately crystalline flakes or needles), hailstones usually measure between 5 mm (0.2 in) and 15 cm (6 in) in diameter.[1] The METAR reporting code for hail 5 mm (0.20 in) or greater is GR, while smaller hailstones and graupel are coded GS.
