If he did participate, it was despite his scientific inclinations, not because of them. We have endless evidence that sexually abusing children causes short- and long-term harm. A study by Rind et al tried to claim that the harm caused by childhood sexual abuse is overstated, but the study was ripped apart by other scientists. It is not considered to be scientifically valid because it failed empirical verification.

If Hawking abused children, he had no one to blame but himself. Conversely, when religious people do it, they may claim that satan tempted them to sin, or that god is actually fine with child abuse (which is supported by multiple bible verses). The bible also fails empirical verification, obviously, but religious people are more interested in claims that comfort them regardless of veracity. Hawking did not believe in divine forgiveness or an afterlife. Pixel data is stored in groups of four: RGBA. So your loop will probably increment i += 4 to check each value of each pixel. You can adjust how much tolerance you want; 255 in RGB is white, so maybe you can check to see that data[i] >= 255 - tolerance where tolerance is some fairly small number, maybe 5. If data[i], data[i+1], and data[i+2] are all acceptably high, set the pixel in the new image to transparent. Otherwise, set it equal to the value of the original image.

The amount of ovalbumin-like protein within the vaccine is extremely low (approx. 37 pg per dose) and is highly processed. While initially it was recommended that only children with a mild egg allergy could be safety vaccinated in primary care with the MMR vaccine. Multiple studies subsequently have shown that the MMR vaccine has an excellent safety record in children with an egg allergy.

Maybe there is a very, very small percentage of the population who cannot get vaccinated because of egg allergies. But that would be covered by herd immunity.
