It’s true. There was only one person willing and capable of cracking denuvo, and they’ve been a total ghost for a year now. Possibly a literal ghost now, considering they’re Russian.

The fact that there currently is no one cracking Denuvo? Empress was the only one cracking and posting new denuvo releases and they’ve been completely silent for months(possibly over a year? I forget). The only other people cracking denuvo lately are a DRM developerdoing so for the challenge(and not releasing the crack, because they’re a DRM dev…) and like one other guy cracking much older versions of denuvo.

Same with Denny’s. I liked it.

They might require it for crossplay or give some goodies for linking, but there’s no fucking way they try to make it retroactively mandatory just to play at all again. After this statement, there would be ACTUAL grounds for a class action lawsuit if they did.

Only if they have access to a mac and xcode would it be easy. Trying to develop anything for iPhone, even a fairly simple website, can be a genuine nightmare without the proper tools for testing, let alone an actual app. I once spent over 2 days trying to solve a bug that I was able to resolve in like 5 minutes after finally admitting defeat and borrowing my brothers macbook.

Just be patient. Idk about FF, but Spider-Man 2 is definitely coming to PC. Hell, there’s already a leaked mostly playable version of the game available if you don’t mind sailing the high seas and don’t mind that it’s like 200gb(it’s like a dev build, lots of uncompressed stuff and extra files that would be removed from the release version).

Basic vsync worsens response time, often by a lot. I’d take screen tearing over vsync.

Can’t help you with any of the other stuff, but to answer your 4k question: No, you still need your 4k collection for best quality. Upscaled 1080p is still 1080p, it just makes it not look wonky on a 4k display. Any details lost due to the source resolution will still be lost, you can’t create extra detail out of thin air.

It was for a family friend who is disabled and unable to work a normal job, so me and my brother(also a dev on this) agreed to be paid on project completion. Long story short, she wasn’t able to pay so the final bug fixes were never done, and the code has been left to rot. Under different circumstances I’d be putting pressure to get at least some payment, but it’s pointless imo.

Lesson learned though, not doing that again.

Absolutely this, nothing but pure laziness. I had a really weird specific issue on iOS Safari with one of my projects, and I own literally nothing Apple. Instead of just accepting shits fucked on iOS, I got my hands on a borrowed Mac so I could use xCode and actually find the issue.

…then again, that project ended up dead in the water at like 95% completion and I never got paid for the work I’d already finished, so maybe the joke IS on me and I should’ve been a lazy fuck.
