I have enough games in my steam library that I could never buy another game, and be perfectly content
So, just Rimworld then.
Honestly though, same. I was really interested in Ghosts of Tsushima when it launched. Now years later it’s finally on PC but it costs more than I usually pay for new games. Fuck that. The only way I’m buying a PS5 is if a friend wants one and is willing to let me get it, play FF7 & 16 then sell it to them in a few months.
Damn right. There are approximately infinity other games to play, they had their chance.
Average night when you accidentally open tvtropes.
Yeah I was holding onto it because I used to be active on /r/pokemontrades, but I haven’t been back there since the blackout stuff. I’ll DM it.
I still have the code for the mystery gift download if you want that, I don’t think it’s expired yet.
Agreed with that last part. On the rare occasions I go with a controller over kb&m, step one is almost always checking Nexus to see if there’s a mod for PS prompts. You get used to it pretty quickly either way, but it’d still be nice.
I noticed this yesterday when I had a mate over and Hitman was showing the PS prompts, which it didn’t used to I assume because it was spoofing an xbox controller before now or something. Pretty cool I guess. The only thing I’m playing with a controller these days is FF8, which I can’t get to register at all without remapping the buttons as keyboard inputs 🤷♀️
Liftoff is my favourite so far, but every time I use it I get the theme song from the old Australian kids show of the same name stuck in my head and it drives me insane.
I used Boost for a couple of years and will almost certainly be switching back to it as soon as it’s available, it’s set to download immediately from the play store when it releases.
I finally managed to get into Breath of the Wild the other night after getting it on launch day and never enjoying it. I played 9 hours solid, then had to go to work for a few days, so I’m looking forward to going home more than usual.
Other than that, there’s the seemingly endless hunt for my last 3 Monster Hunter World achievements (only ~480 hours in, so I’m doing ok). Also, I’ve finally got around to trying Suicide Squad, and I kinda dig it so far. Just gotta clear my plate a bit for the PC release of FF16 in a few weeks, but I can almost guarantee I’ll be too stuck into either Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom to play it.
