I would prefer if we have a single thread for every game
I agree. I guess there’s more engagement on a single thread for all the games, but I really wish we could get individual game threads going, and the key, get them active. I could create an individual game thread for my team’s games, but I feel like it would just be me posting.
I second this sentiment. It’s one of the only reasons why I go back to the other place.
Not only was it a career high for Cousins, it set the record for most passing yards in a game by any Falcon quarterback in team history.
I like that community, I just wish it was more active.
I too came here from the Reddit migration - when Apollo died, so did Reddit for me for the most part. It was amazing the number of Lemmy apps that popped up in those days, and how many of them have been eventually abandoned. I’ve settled on Voyager for my iPhone browsing and Alexandrite for my laptop browsing, and I’ve been really happy on Lemmy.
Actually, users & active users went up last month.
There’s a whole server dedicated to sports at fanaticus.social, but hardly anyone uses it. I have no idea why. I tried, but, like you, I felt like I was yelling into the abyss.

Assuming your current instance is on 19.0 or higher, which most instances are now. If your on an instance that’s still running 18, it isn’t available.

Dude, I haven’t hear the name Rockbox in yeeeeeears! I had that in my first mp3 player that predated the iPod. I don’t remember the name of it, but Rockbox really improved the interface.

Peacock is owned by NBC, so I wonder if it’s part of the NBC/NFL contract. If so, it didn’t cost any more to put it on Peacock.
I sure would like to see people use this even a fraction as much as they do on R#dd#t. It’s what I miss most from over there, and what keeps me going back on Sundays.
That’s not perfect, but I like it better than a thread with posts of games all mixed up. (And it’s better than nothing I guess.)
