I love your username btw. It feels like a food truck Mariner would takk Boimler into running with her as part of a scheme to make money for her to pay off debts she owes to her Ferengi friend or something
WHY DO I NEED TO WATCH A COMMERCIAL BEFORE I CAN WATCH THE COMMERCIAL I WANT TO WATCH?
Borg? Sounds Swedish
This is 100% the fault of the studio execs who don’t want their employees to have a fair wage. I can wait for my Star Trek if it means upholding the ideals that Trek stands for.

Um… you do know that was after his career in the Obsidian Order, right? He was kinda exiled… I mean, I’d love to see a Garak-focused prequel series that also runs until the end of the Dominion War (because you never really ever leave the Obsidian Order), telling some DS9 plot points from his perspective… but I don’t think the whole tailoring thing was ever more than part of a cover he learned as a spy that he turned into a pseudo-career during exile.
Didn’t Alexander Siddig and Andrew Robinson do a screen-read during quarantine of their respective characters as an old, married couple? Or was that something I just imagined? Obviously, not canon, but it’s something that the fan base has certainly gotten behind!
But that’s Beta Canon… I would really like it to be confirmed.
Spoiler for PIC Season 3 below.
I really would like to see a movie about what happened to Ro Laren between TNG’s “Preemptive Strike” and PIC’s “Imposters”. The story she tells Picard & Riker needs fleshing out. How did she survive the death of the Maquis? How was she captured? What were the circumstances that led her to become a member of Starfleet Intelligence? How did she become Worf’s handler? This all feels like it would benefit from either a mini-series or a feature-length Short Trek
I don’t think you’re wrong by any means, but I also wanted to throw in the treatment of the Mark-1 EMH programs that were for some reason reassigned to dangerous work instead of literally any other kind of retirement in 2375
According to their creator, Dr. Zimmerman,
“I tried to have them decommissioned, but Starfleet in its infinite wisdom overruled me and reassigned them all to work waste transfer barges…”
We also know that the reassigned EMH Mark 1s get bootleg copies of The Doctor’s holonovel Photons Be Free in 2378. Assuming a revolt took place (sadly nothing of the sort is ever confirmed, but it isn’t out of the realm of possibility), this would be one more reason leading to the eventual synth ban.
They won’t do it for living people, so they wouldn’t be able to honor the whole cast that way at this time
