That's exactly how they taught us in nursing school. If you try and hide the mistake by "scratching" it out, it's assumed that you're hiding something. A single strike thru with an initial; owning your mistake. Mistakes are expected, and so is being honest about it. Makes you think twice before writing anything half-assed

Granted, most of us don't do paper-charting anymore; but the EMR still tracks any addendum. Don't go writing bullshit that you're unable to explain

The only thing I like the lemmit bot for is to aggregate some news links for me, as well as random TIL. Any of the lemmit bot communities that just link to reddit are an absolute waste of my time, and I block them. But I honestly don't see them too much

I just bought my first domain and am already starting to dive-in to self-hosting. Even if my server isn’t used for the fediverse (at first), I’m excited to stumble my way around a new adventure lol

Apparently the huge emojis are more of a bug within lemmy itself. I’d love to see a fix because they can be annoying, but I believe there’s other things on the priority list first… like individual users being able to block an entire instance would be a great feature. But the giant emojis getting fixed is also up there; I just don’t know enough to say what the underlying issue is
