Please don’t be one of them Devs that does everything on discord. It’s awful for knowledge. You’ll just get people asking the same questions because you don’t have an FAQ or a wiki, or even a forum elsewhere that’s easily searchable.
An almost 30 Software Dev that enjoys gaming, woodworking, electronics and plenty of other hobbies. Too many hobbies.

I sold my PS2 and every game I owned for it for like 3-4 360 games. About 5 or so years later I massively regretted that. Ended up trying to go for a full PS2 PAL collection, likely to compensate. Stopped collecting at around the 600+ mark.
MegaDrive. Don’t remember how I got it, I just always had it. I don’t play it that often if at all anymore as I prefer the ease of emulating on my HTPC with retroachievements. Even got a nice saturn style fight pad that works great for MD games.
Also the model I have is the region free Asian one even though I live in the UK. I’ve always had a JP copy of sonic 1 too. No idea how they ended up in my hands.
I’ve only ever played 2000 on ps1, pc and openra. Will be interesting to try out this remaster
I always much prefer to play at the marine resolution of what I’m playing. Not only do i want to have the same experience as of i was using the console but upscaling can often cause some oddities. Especially with 3d games whereas polygons are sharp and any 2d elements are still pixelated. I think that mismatch looks way uglier than the whole screen being pixelated.
Isn’t the ps4 version a collective remake of all the previous games?
2ds’ are the easiest to soft mod too. Nice haul.
That’s how I feel with Photoshop. I grew up with fireworks and still to this day I miss the workflow fireworks allowed. I’ve never found an exact replacement for it. It was easier for me to completely soft too a new paradigm and use inkscape, than it was to use Photoshop. I’ve not tried krita yet though but I’m less of a “drawer”, at least at the moment anyway.
Get pretendo
That’s why I think it started a little later than the start of the renaissance for the movies. Once you get passed some of them awkward early ones the games really hit their stride.
I think the renaissance for games started a lil later than the movies, but also lasted a little bit after with it ending with the end of the PS1 generation (some cross-gen stuff early on with PS2 too).
Games for films that are not in the renaissance like Treasure Planet and Emperors New Groove are stellar in my opinion.
Sometimes when people see me struggle with a bit of mental maths or use a calculator for something that is usually easy to do mentally, they remark “aren’t you a programmer?”
I always respond with “I tell computers how to do maths, I don’t do the maths”
One UK based dev that worked on some edgy PC games had a “Red Room” at their offices that was purely there for them to take drugs and trip inside. It was just a room completely painted in red.
They’re not under, just sedated. It’s likely they just keep playing to keep their attention elsewhere while they do whatever? Unless they get heavily sedated then the doctors and nurses could just take it out of their hands.
It’s probably more that a DS wouldn’t be allowed in the room for to it’s wireless communications and not for having reasons just for pollution of the radiowaves in the area. So a Gameboy sufficed and Nintendo at the time probably had a load of stock in a warehouse that they could donate.
I currently work with someone who worked with acclaim back then and Virgin at one point too. The stories he tells me of some of the game Devs of the time. Insane. Some of them Devs still exist to this day and knowing what happened behind closed doors I have no idea how they got more business.
Oh, alright. Just thought there was something i should know about pull saws before I finished put my money on it and I wanted to make sure. Thanks
Japanese handsaws aren’t good for plywood? I’ve not got one yet so I’ve not experienced that for myself.
I’m columnar-ortho now, but for standard it’s ISO or bust. You can keep your shitty enter key and your overly long shift key
This is great news! Hopefully we can get some translations done for these
