Nintendo@lemmy.world•The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition – Launch Trailer – Nintendo Switch 2English
6·1 month ago30fps, still no mods, still buggy as all fuck without any means to fix those bugs, and now with horrible input lag added on top.
Started a new game, the dragon wouldn’t break the wall in the tower at the very start. Had to start again from an auto save made after character creation. Even the second time the dragon barely broke the wall to get out of the tower.
They may have touched up a few things for Switch 2, it’s hard to tell, but so far it seems like they added 1080p support to the Switch 1 version and called it a day. How the fuck aren’t mods supported for Switch 2, does this mean Fallout won’t have any either?
And yeah, this was never gonna play at 60fps at 1080p. Even the ROG Ally X can’t hold the game at a stable 60 at 1080. Bethesda would have to optimize the game, and clearly that ain’t happening. The horrendous input lag clearly shows nobody tested this shit.

2·2 months agoNailed it, this is an ad for their company, that’s all the poll is, and of course it backs up the purpose of the company, almost like they set out from the beginning to create a poll with the results they wanted. Once they did that, they fired up their email (or hired a PR company) and spammed every news outlet they could to get them to cover. Steamdeckhq was dumb enough to take the bait, literally advertising this company for free, and OP continued that idiocy by posting here.

And they don’t want to do anything for themselves. It’s why AI is gaining ground, everyone is too lazy to do anything for themselves, and that includes finding good games and hacking their own roms.

11·4 months agoUh, what does BL4 have to do with anything? You said it’s “not true” the game has issues compiling shaders, the video I linked that you admit showcases blatant stuttering issues proves it does.

Open Source@lemmy.ml•Is there something like LinkedIn, but without big tech involvement, no data collection, no ads, open source, and preferably decentralized (maybe Fediverse or even P2P)?
7·4 months agoYou’ll never get the recruiters to participate, because their companies will never let them. LinkedIn is corpo hive-mind central, friendly to corpos first and foremost. What you’re proposing wouldn’t be friendly to corpos, inherently, so they’ll never join, and they hold the strings because they are the ones with jobs to offer.
You’re literally asking how to take the corporatism out of LinkedIn when that is precisely what allows it to exist. Why would any company participate on a platform that gives workers the advantage? Hint, they won’t.

3·4 months agoI had the GBA game back in the day. The GBC game is better, and was released very late in the console’s life, the GBA was actually out when this GBC game launched. Basically the GBC game is one of the best platformers on the console, much like Wayforward’s titles late in the GBC’s life.
