Also, seem like we are getting an ingame way of agreeing on a trade. That’s good, but I don’t know why we didn’t get it when the trade system released.

Do you know the game Concept? It’s similar to that (at least with our house rules, I don’t remember if the official ones were different)

I love that the iconic fog of the series was just a workaround to avoid loading times

I’ve been playing Dave the Diver but it’s been a bit disappointing. Instead of focusing on its main mechanics, the game is completely full of pointless and shallow minigames that break my flow. I like looking for fish and thinking about the menu but the hype it got made me think it was a way better game.

On the bright side, one of those minigames is a Balatro collab that got me to finally get Balatro and I’ve been having a ton of fun with it.

I don’t really recommend Dave the Diver but Balatro is great.

I don’t like the term because it’s not descriptive and it’s not useful when speaking with more casual players who are not that familiar with the hobby. I’d rather mention the game mechanics, like “resource management”.

Funnily enough, I went to an event and taught people how to play it before I played a single match myself

I finally got to play White Castle with some friends and it was way more fun than I expected. When I first run into it I got overwhelmed but once I grasped what you can do and what gives you points I started having fun. The next step would be to be aware about what my opponents are doing so I can obstruct their turns when needed haha

I don’t like their lettering feature at all, and I don’t like that I don’t have the option to disable it if I want.

That’s the one I’m using and it looks virtually the same to Firefox. I’m not sure if there’s some issue with it either, I was scouring the comments for someone recommending it.

I’m on Mastodon and I see plenty of activity, I don’t miss twitter at all. I see less activity on Lemmy tbh
