True. That is a good argument

I don’t get the hate.
I mean how many Firefox users can even use this? Requires new gpu including compatible monitor.
And where is the usecase? Videos in browser? Those are usually chopped down anyway. Upscaling will not help there.
So it’s a cool feature for the 10 people who can use it.
Difference: what does apple do? It has a store that they check the content on. And provide the small app infrastructure. Also they ask for money for you to upload anything.
What does steam do? They provide a huge infrastructure for games with hundreds of gigabytes and then a workshop for mods and multiplayer and controller support and remote play and a general good service.
The epic games launcher sucks and they don’t even provide half of that and they ask for 25% I think because otherwise developers wouldn’t even consider their shop.
I mean I don’t know how much money steam is banking, but they provide quite a good service for their share.
Max download rates at all times (almost).
Amazing steam overlay. Online gaming. Online saves. Workshop. Linux support.
And many more. Some of that epic has too but in comparison epic launcher is shit.
It is anti-consumer. And yes many Android phones are anti-consumer too just not as bad as Apple yet.
I as the consumer want to have the option to do what I want with my device. I want to be able to root it, install software that isn’t meant for it and even flash a completely different os.
It’s a choice. Nobody has to do but should be able to if they want to. Taking this choice away is anti-consumer.
Gluing in a battery into a phone when there’s no need to because it even has space left to make the old swapable ones possible is anti-consumer because you take the option away to change it without breaking your phone.
Ok so you hate android because you couldn’t stop tinkering with it and it got unstable? And you love apple because they don’t let you tinker with it?
You must the only one who is actually benefiting from apples anti-consumer practices. Keep using apple. It seems the right choice for you.
If you don’t tinker with Android it is stable and has almost no bugs. Can’t speak for apps because that is the developers responsibility.
And yes Android phones are usually more inefficient but as long as I can use it a whole day without charging I don’t care.
Fun fact Tomb Raider was the first game with a nude mod.
This would be illegal in most EU countries.
There was a website called sth like free-music.org or similar to that. However the last time I was on there was a few years ago.
How could you?! As a Karen I demand the r/piracy manager and that he forces you to go back and work for free!
Really cool, but I would expect at least the English one to be copy pasted a lot of important knowledge ones. Especially those that are banned in certain countries.
However it is a very small library. The idea is good but with under a hundred books it is not really an library. (at least it was that when they mentioned it in the news a few years ago)
You forgot one
I never had this issue with revanced. Maybe because I am from Europe
For revanced I can say it must be a change on Youtubes site. Because I had the same issue with a relatively new Version of Youtube and revanced on Android 12.
There is the new app grayjay.app which might be a solution for you. YouTube flagging your account is a risk you probably already take with revanced
Yeah but their sentence is correct:
The project is not open source (in terms of FOSS) but the source is open.
The whole license stuff is complicated enough, why are we using confusing technical terms?
Open source should be open source and free and modifyable source should be sth else
Firefox read mode works
You mean when they burn books and shout ‘heil Hitler’ I should do sth?
Obviously I was exaggerating. But maybe only 10 people have an rtx, use Firefox, and even want to use the feature.
