Dremel, on the cut off spoon and the blonde one. The little one was a spoon knife. The little one started as a pretty small piece of wood. All hand tools and sandpaper on that one.
I also use a hand held belt sander that I pin to my table with clamps. Green wood is the best if you use a knife, but then you gotta worry about it cracking as it dries.

The base is magnetic. 45 Colts are steal cases. Not brass.
Edit: Looking at them again… the shotgun shells have steal shot in them. I think the bases are brass. The 45’s are steal cased.

Thank you. I don’t remember what they’re called. I just youtubed “tying paracord” and looked for a knot that looked neat. The loops are simple braids. The shorter stick has 2 types of knot. The longer stick just one. I just kind of made up a way to tie them together, not sure if it’s “right”.
The sticks sat in my garage for over a year. I don’t know, maybe 4 hours each, total. Sanding and tying the knots, took the most time. I’ve never really done much woodworking before. It’s all kind of experimental for me.
