Jeanne Dielman, 23, quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles (1975) is often considered to be a prime example, I think.

In the excitement of national pride
Read that as excrement at first. Then realised that it’s probably quite fitting.

A good deal of the current Scottish population are descended from the Irish, which goes some way to explaining that side of your comparison, but I am not aware of Finland being particularly cloudy.
I have not consulted any climatic records, but I would have expected it to be less cloudy than the rest of Scandinavia, really, since the rain will have been deposited on the mountain in Norway and Sweden before the air masses reach Finland.

I would imagine that it is linked to the rainward side of the Urals, which I would imagine have more cloud and so would promote a selection for improved Vitamin D production, as with Ireland.

Evidently there are something like 300 medieval castles that have substantial stonework remaining in the UK. Don’t know about Ireland though. There are over twice that number if you include earthworks only - plus all the rest that are earlier.
I have been to nine listed on this map, and at least 20 others that aren’t.

Been using QBittorrent for longer than I can remember now. It certainly does everything I have ever wanted from it.

It is the Federation’s we do not discuss it with outsiders thing. It confuses time travelling Klingons.

As far as I am aware, Chronicle Audiobook Player is the only android one that works with Plex.
It does the trick, but I wouldn’t consider it a particularly outstanding audiobook player in general. I use Smart Audiobooks for non-Plex ones but Chronicle to play directly from my Plex server.
I had a ghettoblaster with tape-to-tape at some point in the '80s and certainly copied a couple of albums that way - but I’ve never really been into music that much, so it wouldn’t have been many.
Prior to that we did have a horrible old mono tape recorder which I used to record some HHGTTG episodes on it’s original radio transmission by standing it beside the radio and begging the family to be quiet. I may even have those tapes somewhere - for sentimental value. They were appalling quality as you would expect.
