When fanfic is more fun than the original

It’s nice to dream up fun ideas though!

Ive noticed many lore videos on youtube have become “read a bunch if info” but as it was info I didn’t know of (I barely remembered lannete in the first place and hadn’t heard of many of the others) it’s good enough, plenty of room for my mind to fill and expand on the info given. I have yet to see a “pc storage” company in pokemon so this allows for some fun implications

people giving up due to lack of niche/interesting communities

This is where people need to start making theire own communities. If you dont see it, make it. Its not easy, and you will likely have to be active in its growth, i think its worth it

Loved contests and while i do miss them, ive never known the pokeblocks went so deep

I really enjoy using Meinsho line as they are fun, and u turn+regenerator is great but i wish they got a mega

I feel like legendaies lost most of their “oomf” before it was apparent that gamefreak was phoning it in

Sigilyph being based off the Nazca lines leavs it looking silly and the Xatu line is tortured mentally if i am remembering their pokedex enty correctly.

I think my biggest problem is that its hard tto run both on the same team because they are simply to similar. That and there are just better psychic pokemon (shout out to Reuniclus)

I honestly love the Natu -> Xatu line and Sigilyph. Somethin about the designs hits me just right

I skipped Sw/Sh and while i kinda prefer legends, i find it kinda fun

I do think an embrace of other styles of game,from art style like the 2.5d game Octopath Traveler or game play with the mystery dungeon, Ranger series along with Pokemon Conquest , would help breath new life into the series but that just goes back to what you’ve pointed to as the real issue; Rushed and Cynical games.

Who even plays Go anymore. I havent seen anyone walking around tapping balls since 2017-18 and im near a city so i would imagine stops are relitively plentiful

Doesnt Nintendo (or pokemon company) check for hacked pokemon in the system? How are they getting away with this in Home

is there a board for that here? might be useful, but Ive personally never trusted the trade rooms. Much safer to prowl the streets and force people to trade in real life

that would be super appreciated! though right now i do believe its possible if you have Legends. There is an item called the link charm (i think) that should be able to do link evos.

Why are thes impossible trades even allowed. Ive seen so many requests for lv 1 -10 final evos like darapult and typhlosion. You would think the system would recogniz that as impossible and deny the post
